It began. The march of solitude, the walk of victory, the trek of war. The whole army was traveling through the timid woods, following Edens path, heading up North to battle the Ice Nation. The sunset was beautiful, it would be gone in about an hour, and as Clarke could tell, a full moon would set in. Grounders and sky people were surrounding her, as they continued their heroic march.

"Lexa, do we have an attacking strategy other than just Plan A, The Reapers?" Clarke asked, tilting her head to the side, eyeing Lexa worriedly. Lexa glanced at her, and smiled, her warpaint rising as her rosy round cheeks arise.

"The Ice Nation have a camp a few Kilometers from here, they won't expect us coming. We have to make the first move after that gift basket scheme they tried to pull, Ajax is now being nursed on the infirmary floor of the Polis tower...that could have been me." Lexa sighed, staring quaintly at the ground. Clarke gazed at her, serious faced, and brows up.

"Yeah, there's a lot of people that care about you..Wait, I thought we were trying to wipe out the whole clan of Ice Nation, why are we just terrorizing a simple Ice Nation village?" Clarke asked confusingly.

"Because, if we go to deep into Azgeda territory, we all may not make it out alive, that is a risk I'm willing to take. If we destroy one village, and slaughter her guardsmen and villagers, and even burn their crops, she'll get the message to not mess with Trikru...Nor Skaikru. Also Nia may be at this particular camp, this is where she resides." Lexa's words sounded so desolate, so wise, so prosperous. Clarke envied the Commanders sense of positiveness.

"What if we don't win? What if we are the ones to get slaughtered?" Clarke asked worriedly, thinking to The Arks wreckage. How her Mother may be there, how much she'll be wrecked to find out her daughter died in a war, how much it will destroy her. Clarke grit her teeth, and curled her fingers up into a bold fist.

"If we don't win? We'll die Warriors." Lexa continued to March, as Clarke followed, staring down at the ground awkwardly.

"Tell me...more about this orange City we'll be going to once this ravage war is over..you say its beautiful." Clarke asked.

"Ah..I've heard it is a magnificent thing to gander at..all skyscrapers. At sundown, the city is basically orange..Thus that is why it was dubbed 'The Orange City.' It is different from the towers scattered across the deadzone...The towers in the deadzone are different..they are infested with the mutants..the outcasts.." Lexa huffed. Clarke sighed, crossing her arms uncomfortably.

"Wells and a group are going through the Deadzone...to The City Of Light..is the Orange City & The City Of Light similar?"

"Absolutely not. At least people know what the Orange City looks like..The City Of Light is an unknown attraction..all I know is what I've heard from travelers..The woman in red rules it." Lexa replied hoarsely, assisting Clarke over a log, which stuck halfway out of the ground.

"I see..You do realize, Claudia went with Wells and the rest, right?" Clarke tilted her head. As soon as Clarke spoke of Claudia, Lexa's face hardened a tad bit. The whole army halted when Lexa did, even the unknown people way way in the back.

"Keep moving everyone! I and the Sky peoples commander just need to speak of something...Clarke, come here." Lexa grabbed Clarke by her wrist firmly, and yanked her off to the section of woods to the side. "Why the hell didn't you tell me Claudia was joining your friend and his band of misfits!?"

"I-I didn't think you cared. I thought you and her basically hated each other!" Clarke spoke in response. Lexa shook her head, looking quite disappointed, as she glanced downward, at the grey-like leaves below the two.

"She may have utter contempt for me, but I still care for her..she is the only family I have left..I wish you would have told me..tell me these things next time, please Clarke. It may look like I don't care, when in reality..I do." Lexa sounded as concerned as ever. Clarke felt foolish, and very ashamed. She nodded, staring down at the leaves. The leaves were all crunchy, and no longer floppy, some even were all crinkled into bits. The climate was dropping more and more they head North. Clarke shivered, holding herself as she stared back up at Lexa.

"I'm sorry..I'll always tell you my actions relating to you or your peoples fate, it was foolish of me to assume you didn't care for her.." Clarke didn't want to talk back, she just wanted to apologize and keep going. The two leaders have established a great friendship, Clarke didn't want to break it over something as stupid as this.

"Thank You Clarke..Now come on." Lexa strut back through a few trees, and joined back into the marching soldiers. Clarke sighed, staring at her, and the soldiers. Maybe this place wasn't meant for her and her friends, maybe Earth was better left untouched. Clarke shrugged, joining back into the crowd, noticing an out of breath Octavia straddling behind in the back of the marching army. Clarke didn't consult with her, she just continued to trek. Trek on, and on, and on. War is approaching.
