Chapter 43

Nicki POV

"Alright momma lets try this again" I say as meek placed her down on the pillow. I've been trying to breast feed her for the past 15 minutes now but she wouldn't latch on. If she doesn't latch on I'm gone have to give her one of the formulas they have us. I took my swollen breast out lining it up with her small lips but she wouldn't budge. "Ugh come on Amayiah eat for mommy. Mommy breast are full and sore from all this milk so help mommy out" I say getting frustrated. I've taking my prenatal pills since last month and now that my milk is in she needs to latch on or I'm gone have to go ahead and pump. Meek came over sitting beside me rubbing her hair as she looked up at him.

"Relax baby she'll latch on eventually" he says bending down kissing her head. "See she's so nosey she can't even eat. Tell daddy to move Amayiah" I say shoving him slightly. "Amayiah you better eat or I'll eat for you" he says as I smacked my teeth pushing him over. "Really Rihmeek. I can't stand you" I say playfully adjusting her head trying one last time. "OMG look" I gasped as meek sat up looking at her latching on finally. "It's about damn time" he says as I sat my head back closing my eyes. "How does it feel baby" he asks as I sat up opening my eyes. "It feels weird and it kinda hurts because she sucking mighty hard" I say looking down making sure the milk was coming out. I let her feed off of one boob before switching her to the opposite side. Once she was done I hand her to meek so he could burp her as I went upstairs in her room to look for the pump.

I heard my phone ringing as I walked by so I went and got it seeing it was a FaceTime call. "Bitchhhhhhh oh my gawd she's homeeeeeeee" candi spazzed as I smiled walking to her room. "Yesssss my little chocolate drop is finally home" I say walking to her closet. "I'm so happy. Where is she I want to see her" she says as I smirked at her. "Didn't you get the pictures I sent out in the group message." I ask as she rolled her eyes. "Bitch stop playing" she says as I laughed. "Calm ya tits candi she's downstairs with her daddy. I not too long ago breast fed her so meek burped her while I came up here looking for the pump. I'm pretty sure she's sleep now" I say reaching up grabbing the pump which was still in the box.

"Ughhhhh well when can I come over and see her" she asks as I sat down in the rocking chair sitting the phone up on the changing table. "Well she just got home today. Meek and I sorta wanted to spend today getting used to her first but we're welcomed to have guest over tomorrow" I respond taking the pump and everything else out the box. "Ok well I'll be over first thing in the morning to cook y'all breakfast" she says getting excited as I smiled reading over the instructions. "Ok fine by me. I think I want to redo our graduation party because it's only right. Amayiah really ended it because she wanted to come home early. So throwing a welcoming home party for her would be nice what you think," I ask looking up at the screen.

"Shiddd if you down and meek approves then I say go for it" she says as I put the things back in the box so I could carry it downstairs. I grabbed the box then my phone leaving out the baby's room. "So before I go can you at least put her on the screen one time" candi asks as I reached the kitchen placing the pump down. "Ugh fine hold on" I say walking in the living room seeing her on Meeks shoulder. "Is she sleep" I ask walking over to them. "Nah she should be tho" he says as I walked over seeing her eyes opening and closing slowly. "She'll be sleep soon cuz she barely can keep her eyes opened." I say turning the camera off me so candi could see her. "Oh shit I ain know candi was on the phone. Wassup candi" he says as she said hey.

I then switched the camera back on me as she awwwww'd. "OMG she's so beautiful. Biiiiitch I'm over here bouta cry and shit likeeee my best friend really is a mommy now." She says getting emotional as I pouted my lips. "Awwwww candi don't cry before you get me worked up." I say walking into the kitchen pulling a pot out to boil the bottles nipples and pump pieces. "I'll see you in the morning sis, I got errands to run" she says as I put water in the pot placing it on the stove and turning it on. "Alright bew, Love you" I say as she said it back before ending the call. Walking back in the living room meek had Amayiah in the middle of his chest. Both of them were sleep which was the cutest thing ever. I took a picture of them but the flash went off as I did it waking meek up.

"Dammit" I whispered as he looked at me shaking his head. "Really bae, you play too much" he says as I walked over to sit down beside them. "So. It still got it tho look." I say showing him the picture. I then saved it as my lock screen placing my phone on the table. "The bottles and everything are being sterilized so I can pump up some milk for her tonight because I'm pretty sure you're going to be the best boyfriend ever and get her in the middle of the night and help me out when she wakes up" I say laying my head on his shoulder. "You know I got you baby" he says as I sat up kissing his cheek. "Alright well I'm going to turn the stove off bad drain everything then go upstairs and lay down. When she wakes up you can bring her to me and I'll change her and feed her again or you can change her then bring her up to eat." I say getting up walking to the kitchen. Once I was done I went upstairs to rest before she keeps meek and I up tonight.

Next morning

Nicki POV

"Good morning mayiahhhhh" I say looking down at my beautiful baby girl as she latched on eating. Last night was ok due to the fact she didn't cry as much as we thought she would. Meek stayed up most of the time because he wanted me to rest so now he's sleeping and I'm up with her. Meek then started snoring loud as fuck as I threw a pillow at him causing him to turn over on his stomach. "Why your daddy got to be so loud" I say looking down at her as she ate. He then started snoring again as I called his name but he still didn't budge. Reaching over grabbing her blanket I placed it over her and my breast carefully standing up walking out and going downstairs.

Once I approached the living room I sat down letting her finish up. "Ya auntie will be here soon mama. She's so excited to see you" I say as she closed her eyes. I pulled my breast out as she sucked her bottom lip in. Placing my breast back in my nursing bra I pulled my shirt down carefully picking her up placing her in the newborn swung. I was getting hungry and I don't know where candi at so I'm just gone go ahead and get started. As I took the waffle mix down the doorbell rung. "Dammit now she's going to wake up" I say going to open the door. She was up sucking her pacifier as I walked passed her opening the door for candi. I mouthed for her to whisper as she came in nodding her head.

"Good morninggggggg" she whispers giving me a hug and handing me a gift bag. "Good morning bae what's this?" I ask looking in the bag which was an outfit with a onesie that said "Candi Girl". "Awwwwww this is cute" I say placing the bag down on the table. "Thanks girl. I'm doing a baby clothing line soon while taking my college classes online and I was wondering if Amayiah could model some of the clothes." She asks looking over at her. "Sure, long as it's ok with her daddy but lets go cook" I say dragging her in the kitchen. 20 or so minutes later we were done and at the table eating. I put Meeks plate in the microwave. Candi and I ate and talked til meek came in with Amayiah kissing her face.

"Meek stop doing that before she breaks out baby" I say as he came over to me kissing my lips. "GoodMorning to you too. Wassup candi" he says as I said GoodMorning and she said hello. "Meek can I hold her pleaaaaase" she whines as he passed Amayiah to her. Meek then sat down as we talked about the welcome party for Amayiah I wanted to throw next month. "Fine with me" he says looking up at us. "Soooo candi doing a baby clothing line soon annnnd..." I say as she finished my sentence. "Can Amayiah model some of the clothes" she asks as meek thought long and hard thinking about it. "I guess but don't be having my baby on anything crazy now candi I know you" he says as I laughed. "Oh shut up meek." She says as we got up going in the living room.

"Hey babe do you mind cleaning up our mess" I yell out as he peeped around the corner. "Really y'all gone leave me...... You know what fine" he says shaking his head as I smiled. "Thanks daddy" I say getting comfortable on the couch. "Nic she's so adorable" candi says looking down at her smiling. "Say thank you auntie candi" I cooed getting closer to her. "My chocolate drop has really came a long way" I say rubbing my fingers through her hair. "So is chocolate drop her new nickname? What happened to piglet." She asks. "OMG you remembered that. Well when she was tiny that's what I called her but now that she's taking on her color from her dad she's my little chocolate drop" I say as candi giggled. "That's too cute" she says as we sat back talking, catching each other up on things that's happened over the past months.
