Chapter 44

One month later

Nicki POV

Amayiah has been home for a month now and I am loving parenthood. Meek will be going to live on campus in 2 months for the second semester of college while I do online classes. That means I'll be here taking care of a 3 month old by myself. I wanted him to wait for me our sophomore year to live on campus but he insisted upon going so he could play stupid football. Speaking of him he's currently out getting the rest of his things for his dorm. I was at home in our room FaceTiming Candi going over the things for Amayiah's  welcome home party. "Is she sleep?" Candi asks as I sat up putting pillows behind my back. "Yes she's sleep. You know that's really all she does Candi she's only a month and a few days" I say biting my nails. "I miss my little munchkin. But anywhoo about this party next week. I think we got everything sis. Is there anything else you want to add?" She asks as the bedroom door opened revealing Rihmeek.

"Nah we good on everything. If I come up with something I'll add it to the list." I say watching meek walk over picking up Amayiah from her basinet. "Meek put her down. I JUST laid her down" I say watching her little body stretch out as he kissed her cheeks. "He aggy. But I'll get you back later nika , I got to go study" candi says as pouted. "I got to study too but I want to talk to you instead bae" I whine cutting my eyes at Rihmeek seeing him staring at me like I was crazy. "Ok look bitch get it together babes so you pass these online classes. Next year you'll be with me and we'd share dorms." She says as I smiled. "You right bae. Guess I'll talk to yo sexy ass later Can" I say licking my lips. I knew meek was burning a hole in my face but I didn't care. "Onika stop! Is Meek still in the room? Why you gotta be so gay, I knew you still had that gayness still in you" she says as I giggled. "Yea and I came in and fucked that gay shit outta her. Yo candi she'll call you back" meek says ending the FaceTime call as I smacked my lips.

"Hereeeeeeeey!!!! I wasn't done talking to my baby" I whine pouting my lips. "Fuck all that. Why you being petty!? You been doing petty shit since this morning" he says as I rolled my eyes. "Gimme my baby I don't got time for this shit" I say reaching over to grab Amayiah but he moved her back. "Nah. Move not till you stop being petty and tell me what's your problem ma." He says as I rose up off the bed putting my house shoes on. I then grabbed my phone and keys going downstairs and out the door. He really annoying me and to prevent me from saying sometime I'd regret in the future I left. Getting in my car I headed to his house. Luckily Na was home so that mean I get to see my ladybug. Pulling up to the house I got out locking the doors before going up to the door ringing the doorbell.  "Who is it.... OMG hey sissy poooooooh" Na says as I walked in hugging her. "Wassup. Got it smelling good in here" I say walking in the kitchen going over to the stove seeing spaghetti.

"Oh sis that's nothing but something light. But what brings you by. Where's my baby?" She ask talking about Amayiah. "Ohh she's at home with her daddy so I thought I'd come visit you" I say giving her a convincing smile as she looked at me. "And not bring Amayiah, sis you know I see right through you when you're lying right. What meek do now?" She asks as I threw my head back. One thing I hated between meek and Na was that they are JUST alike and know me so well. "We got into a slight argument this morning talking about college, no biggie" I say shrugging my shoulders. "Uh yea it is a biggie if you left him and the baby at home, drove waaaaay over here in ya sweats, tshirt, and house shoes with your hair and makeup not done ON TOP of you looking stressed as fuck so YEA it's a biggie sis" she says as I pouted my lips at the way she called me out like that.

"Ok see you didn't even have to say all that. And hell yea I'm stressed! I'm taking online classes along with studying AND watching Amayiah on top of being up at night with her BY myself because Meeks either sleeping or he's out working, which I don't even believe he's working as much as he say he is" I say looking down at my phone seeing he was calling me but I declined it. "So he doesn't help with the baby" Na asks as I nodded my head. "He helps but not as much as I want him too but he want to go live on campus next semester when I told him to wait on me and we'd go live on campus our sophomore year but he insisted on going because of that dumb ass football shit" I say as Na shook her head. "That's not right. I'm gone have to talk to him. He can't just leave you like that with Amayiah, she'll be what 3 months when he leaves??? NAH let me go over there and beat his asss" Na says as I giggled.

"We'll at least you see where I'm coming from. But look let me get back to my baby girl. She's prolly hungry since meek woke her up and I didn't even pump before I left so lemme go" I say hopping down off the counter grabbing my keys. "Well alright sissy pooh. Did you want some spaghetti?" She asked as I nodded my head yes. "Yes babe, I'm starving and I was just thinking about what should I cook tonight for dinner since meek don't bother cooking nothing. Not one meal" I say as Na fixed me up some spaghetti in a bowl handing me a fork. "Wow meek and I gone have a long talk. Keep the bowl and fork, momma got a lot of em" she says handing it to me as I took a bite. "Mmmmmmm this is so goooood" I moan eating more as she laughed at my dramatics.

"Well thank you. You want to fix meek a b..." She asked as I slurped my noodle up before cutting her off. "NOPE!!! He'll find something like a sandwich to eat at the house" I say as she shook her head. "Y'all a mess I swear. Watch y'all be boo'd up the next day I swear y'all bipolar as fuck." She says walking me to the door. "Oh shut up. Aww I didn't even get a chance to see my ladybug" I say turning around. "She's sleeping anyways but gone back home before you have meek fucking Philly up looking for you. He already calling my phone now" she says as I shook my head. "Alright sis, bye. Tell moms I said hey" I say as she answered the phone. "Hello..... Oh hey Rihmeek let me talk to you real quick" she says as I walked out turning around mouthing "I love you" as she blew a kiss shutting the door.

About 20 minutes later I arrived back home and it is now 8:15pm. I got out locking the doors going in. Putting the code on I walked upstairs finishing my spaghetti. Reaching the room meek was on the bed with his eyes shut and Amayiah in the middle of his chest. I sat down gently on the bed placing the bowl on the nightstand and turning on the pump. Siting back I opened my MacBook reading the article my professor sent me last night. Few minutes passed as I was starting to get in to it but meek startled me. "Why you ain answer your phone when I called you earlier?" He asks as I sat up placing my breast back in my nursing bra. "I left my phone in the car" I say lying twisting the nipple on Amayiah's bottle as he sat her up waking her. She yawned looking up at him as he placed it in her mouth. I could tell she was hungry by the way she latched on.

Focusing back to my article meek kept talking my ear off. I slammed my MacBook down getting inside bed throwing the covers over me including my head. "Damn can't even fucking study in peace" I mumbled as he snatched the covers off of me. "What was that" he ask as I kept my back turned from him. "I said you got her tonight I'm catching up on some well needed SLEEP!" I say pulling the covers back on me. "You know I go out, I mean work tonight so why you playing?" He says as I turned over facing him. "See that right there is what the fuck I be talking about Robert. Always fucking leaving me here all night most of the time with the baby like I don't need any damn rest DAMN I do everything for you on top of taking care of yo baby and what do I get? A sorry ass boyfriend who thinks he's the king of England" I say getting annoyed. "But you...." He says as I cut him off grabbing my blanket and pillow. "SAVE IT. Like I said you got her tonight" I say walking out slamming the door behind me.

I heard Amayiah cry as I went downstairs. I felt bad but I'm so stressed and tired its unbelievable. I went in the living room turning the TV on forensic files keeping the volume on low. I laid down on the love chair throwing my blanket over me and getting my pillows comfortable beneath my head. I watched TV until my eyes became heavy as sleep soon took over me.

I had a long day today so I'm only updating one other book tonight but which one though? Which ever one I see mentioned the most in the comments below that will be the book I choose to update! Excuse errors, thanks for reading!!!!!!
