January

Nicki POV

Amaiyah was now 3 months. These past 3 months have been hectic and Meeks been trying step up and be a good father but with him leaving soon to go on campus builds up that insecurity wall again and it's not that I don't trust him it's just I feel like he's being sneaky coming in late because of "work" from time to time but he told me he wasn't selling so I'm going to take him for his word.

I was currently getting my nails done as Amaiyah slept on my chest in her baby sling I had on. I then felt my phone vibrate looking down seeing it was a text from meek. "Hey baby my moms will be watching baby girl tonight, me and you going out, be home at 6pm sharp! Love u" it read as I smiled. Wow we haven't been out with just ourselves since Amaiyah's been home so this should be interesting. Once my nails and toes were done I left the nail salon going straight home considering it was 5:30 and cold out I wanted to get baby girl in.

"Remember that old restaurant we ate at last year on your birthday and I told you it was being remodeled having your name baby" he asks as I nodded my head yes. "Well tonight we're eating at ONIKA'S" he says as my eyes grew. "Really babyyyyyyy" I spazz as he nodded his head yes. "Yes baby, it'll be opening   tomorrow and that's what I've been doing from time to time at night helping and making sure things were running smooth with the restaurant but tonight we're going to be the first customers at ONIKA'S tonight" he says as I spazzed.

"Wow I remember that night like it happened yesterday. We came and ate then you took me back to your place and showered me with gifts and this beautiful promise ring. "I had too baby lol I'm sorry" I say as he shook his head fanning me off. 5 minutes later we pulled up getting out going in hand in hand as my eyes grew at how beautiful the inside was. "Wow baby it's gorgeous. I'm in love" I say as we walked over to a table. We ordered our food being served immediately since we were the only two customers here.

Once our food was here we ate talking and laughing here and there about everything. All of this made me realized why I loved his ass so much. "Listen baby so you know it's been a year and some months we've been together and now that I'm starting the second semester of college I wanted to let you know that I love you so much. You are my everything and I want to spend the rest of my life with you so what I'm saying well asking is.....will you marry me" he says pulling out a black box opening it revealing  a huge rock as I nodded my head yes crying. "Yes yes yes YES, a thousand times YES!" I say as he slid the ring on my finger.

I then got up kissing him as he held me in his arms. "Wow that was easy" he says causing me to giggle. "Why baby. You knew I'd said yes" I say sitting down as he shrugged. "Ion know I guess with how you thought I was sneaking of at night when really I've been working here and focusing on getting you the perfect engagement ring" he says as I nodded my head. "Well it feels good to actually know I got a good nigga who's not out here cheating on me while I'm taking care of his baby" I say as he nodded his head. "And I totally feel where you're coming from baby but look, I got one more place to take you tonight. Are you ready to dance." He ask as I shrugged.

"We going to the club tonight baby? Sounds like fun" I say as we got up leaving out heading to the car. "Oh not just any club baby. Just sit back and relax. You'll see when we get there" He says pulling off. Moments pasted as I seen we turned into a familiar club. "Omg baby no you didn't bring me back here" I say cheesing as he parked the car. "Welcome home peaches" he says referring to my stage name. "Damn baby how you get the place to yourself" I asked as he unlocked the club doors going in. "'My nigga mike lemme borrow the keys tonight so we got the club to ourselves" he says as I walked over to the stage twirling from the pole.

"Damn I used to have fun doing this" I say as he pulled up a chair sitting down. "And dem private  shows too!" I say smirking looking out at him. "Yeah we had some good times in there baby" he says as I blushed. "Why don't you give me a show shorty" he says as I smiled at him calling me shorty. "I thought I'd never head that name again baby" I say chuckling as he sat up walking towards me. "I'm dead ass serious tho so strip down and hand me ya clothes Ma" he says as I just stared at him. "Ok choose a song, ONE song then let's get up out of here baby" I say handing him my clothes as he nodded going back to his seat. "WETTER" by twista played as my eyes grew.
