HARRY POV
after Blaine left we all stood there awkwardly, nobody saying a word
"i'm hungry"
"how can you think of food at a time like this Niall?" i asked the blonde haired boy
"what?" he said, looking confused
"you're hungry"
"yeah well, how do you know?"
"you just said so Ni" i said
"no i didn't" niall said, looking even more confused if that was possible
"probably thinking out loud then" i pointed out
"yeah.. probably..."
the awkward silence returned
"so, i don't know about you guys but i do NOT like that Blaine kid" Louis started
"yeah, we noticed" Liam spoke
"why don't you like him Lou?" Niall asked looking concerned
"i don't know! he just seems sketchy! can we trust him?"
"well, he was right about my powers and all" i spoke unsure
"that's true"
"i'm sooo hungry"
"NIALL CAN YOU STOP THINKING ABOUT FOOD FOR ONCE" I snapped, i mean, there are more important things going on right now
Niall looked at me with a shocked face but then looked at his feet
"Sorry Harry...."
"Harry..." Liam began, eyeing me curiously "Niall didn't say anything"
"yes he did"
"No Harry i didn't" Niall said softly
"yes you did!" i pointed out, starting to get annoyed "I heard it clear as day, you said "i'm sooo hungry" i said, imitating his Irish accent
"i didn't hear it" Zayn shrugged
"are you sure your powers aren't making you a bit coocoo Haz?" Louis asked with a giggle
i really didn't get it! i thought i clearly heard Niall
"I wonder if he's allright" Liam's voice said
"YES I AM ALLRIGHT LIAM! DON'T ACT LIKE I'M CRAZY" i shouted, almost desperate now
Liam's eyes widened "Harry I really didn't say that"
what the hell!
things were getting a little weird for me, i needed some alone time. so i turned around and ran until i was really close to a floating island, i focused really hard and i could feel my eyes started to glow and suddenly i was standing on the island
i laid down on my back and closed my eyes
i don't know how long i was alone when suddenly i heard a voice behind me
"needed some alone time huh?" Blaine spoke
"yeah sorry, i think i'm going mad!"
"i know, the boys told me what happened, and i already explained them what's going on with you"
"what's happening to me?" i asked, tears starting to fill my eyes
"well, since it's already begun, i can tell you now" he sighed before continuing
"Harry, as Influeris you can do more than just teleport, you can also use telepathy, meaning you can read and project minds and thoughts"
"so i'm like one of those mentalists you see on TV?" i asked surprised
"yeah sort of like that, but you have to know, that when you get home, that power will be gone for a while"
"why?" i asked
"because here in Alterius every Influeris and Elementari is stronger because the air is filled with Chi as well, so you can do more things and you are faster on this world than you are on earth"
"okay" i nodded, i was beginning to get this whole Chi thingy now
"and seeing as you've awakened your second power, it won't be long till your last power will activate"
"i have three powers?!"
"yes, and they're all sort of connected, but that's all i can tell you for now"
i nodded but felt disappointed
"now, wanna go back to the lads so our training can begin?"
i nodded enthousiastically i couldn't wait to learn to control my powers, shocking as it may be, being some sort of superhero is totally awesome!
Blaine's eyes started glowing and suddenly we were surrounded by the buys again who tackled me into a group hug
"so you can read minds huh?"
"gotta start censoring my sexual fantasies"
"what number am i thinking of?"
"pretty cool Haz"
I laughed as my friends bombarded me with questions
Blaine coughed and we all looked up
"follow me, i'll teach you to use your powers"
everybody immediately followed him, mumbling to each other, i couldn't really hear anything they said but i think i catched a glimpse of Lou's and Niall's conversation
"i bet you ten dollars that I can control fire"
"you're on" Niall responded in his thick irish accent
I chuckled, glad that this whole experience hasn't changed our friendship
so far..
