Chapter 12

Niall POV

We all stood there shocked

"they're all dead?" Liam asked

"yes"

"How?" Harry asked

"they were killed actually"

I felt a rather unpleasant shiver run down my spine

"WHAT?! THEY WERE ALL KILLED?! WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL US?!"

"Louis calm down, this might be hard for him too" Liam said

"CALM DOWN?!" Louis shouted again, but Liam gave him a stern look so instead of shouted he hissed "i knew we couldn't trust him, he takes us to another world to train us, but he just casually forgets to mention that everybody else has been brutally murdered here"

"I didn't tell you because of this exact reason, i don't want you to be distracted from your training" Blaine said calmly

"Who killed them?" Zayn asked softly

"Jake" Blaine stated

"who's Jake?" I asked

"basically he's like you guys, he's from earth, and can control fire, however, this changed when he commited the unforgivable crime"

"what'd he do?" Zayn asked, obviously intrigued because he was also a Fire controller

"He killed his Influeris"

we all gasped and turned to Harry, who suddenly looked pale

"but..." i said, not knowing how to continue

"correct, he killed his Influeris, and every Elementari has a special bond with his Influeris, similar to the bond you guys have with Harry, so basically, it's the same as if you would kill Harry"

"but... how did that change his power?" Zayn asked

"well, you see, people have attempted to kill their Influeris a couple of times before, but never succeeded because the Influeris can read their minds, but for some reason, Jake managed to do it without ever giving a clue, and when he killed Helena, that was her name, he absorbed her power"

"so he became an Influeris?" Louis asked, now completely calmed down

"No, he became much more, you see, he discovered that if he killed one of his own, he absorbed their powers, and since he had the powers of an Influeris AND he could control fire, he was extremely powerful, and he didn't stop there"

"you don't mean-" I asked, not really wanting to know the answer because i'm scared of the answer

"Yes, he killed his own Elementari"

"so, he can control all elements?" Harry asked in disbelief

"and then some, because he can make all his powers enhance each other, he has even trained his telepathy so much, that he can now CONTROL people's thoughts and actions"

"but, where is he now?"

"he's on earth, searching for the last groups of Elementari"

"but, if he's alone, whwy don't all the Elementari unite and fight him?" Liam asked looking thoughtful

"because he's not alone, he has a legion of followers, based on fear and control" Blaine said, venom dripping from his voice"

"but, is there any resistance whatsoever?"

"yes, small groups of Elementari are training in secret to defeat him, just like you"

"like us?!" Louis said

"yes, you didn't think you were training for nothing, right?" Blaine said simply

"no, but i didn't think we'd be training to fight some sort of Elementari emperor either!" Louis said

"well, either you train and fight him directly, or he'll find you eventually and kill you"

"how will he ever find out we are Elementari?"  Liam asked

"he might never find out, but that doesn't mean he won't try and kill you. remember that tsunami that hit Japan last year?"

we all nodded

"that was him"

WHAT?!, i understand he can control water but create an entire Tsunami! i can not imagine what to do with so much power

"WHAT!?" i said, mimicking my thoughts

"someone told him that there was an Elementari somewhere on the coast, and he didn't want to take any chances, so he created a Tsunami to kill everyone."

"wow" i breathed

"ehm.. did he kill your Elementari too?" Harry asked hesitantly, knowing how loaded his question was, he can probably relate to Blaine more than we do, since they're both Influeris

"no" Blaine stated

"Then who did?"

"that's a story for another time, but believe me, i had my reasons, now, to continue your training, Harry, i want you to put your Iphone on the ground, take 5 steps away from it, and send it back to your hand with your mind"

Harry nodded, Harry found out that his final Influeris power was telekinesis, so he has to train that now

"Niall, walk to that bowl wof water, and see how many drops you can lift without using your hands" I nodded too and walked towards the bowl

"Liam, try if you can lift one of the tiles from this room with your power, don't worry, they're all made of earth"

"okay" Liam said

"Zayn, Louis, the same exercise as last time"

"alright" they said before disappearing into the other room

we did this for an hours, and when we were done, i managed to lift 4 drops of water, it wasn't much, but it was something! but I really have to up my game if we want to stand a chance against Jake

we returned home and were exhausted so we all went to sleep, we didn't have any 1D interviews or photoshoots or concerts next week so we decided to train full time, it's gonna be tough, but we gotta get stronger!
