Chapter 61

Liam POV

"I love you"

I froze. I turned around to look at Niall, who looked like he was thinking very hard about something. "What did you say?"

Niall slowly nodded, breathing a soft "Yes" as to confirm it for himself. "I love you!" He nodded more feverishly now. "And I know it's bad timing but-" 

Without waiting for him to finish his sentence I grabbed him and crashed my lips on his. He immediately started kissing me back. I pulled back. "I love you too" I breathed, before kissing him again. Totally forgetting what was happening around us.

"Even though I am really digging this whole lovey dovey vibe that you're giving off right now.." Louis voice sounded from somewhere around us. "You couldn't have picked a less convenient time to do so" He pointed out.

"Yeah" Zayn joined, "Can you- DUCK!" He suddenly shouted. Niall and I finally pulled back and immediately ducked, barely dodging a blast of fire erupting from Zayn's hands, hitting some woman right in the chest.

"This isn't over" I smiled at Niall who smiled back. I turned around and immediately covered someone's feet in stone. Leaving them immobilized.

Harry POV

I fell down. The hot sand softening the hit. I immediately launched myself at Jake again, socking him in the jaw. It's been going like this for a while now. We're basically beating each other to death. Except we're both teleporters. We've been sending each other practically around the globe. Right now we were in some sort of desert or something.

Jake fell back, blood trickling down his nose. I slowly walked towards him and towered over him.

"Looks like the incredible Jake is just human" I taunted him, feeling slightly smug that I managed to hold my own against him.

"What did you expect?" Jake said, standing up. He wiped the blood from his nose. "A god? Because I can tell you, I'm no god. I'm just the strongest human." He smirked

"Doesn't look like it" I stated.

Jake's eyes flashed with anger. He bolted towards me and grabbed me by the throat. Suddenly I felt a warm feeling spread through my body, starting from my feet. 

"You're actually mental if you think you can beat me" He hissed through gritted teeth. His foul breath making my face contort in disgust.

I closed my eyes, ignoring the warm uncomfortable feeling that was starting to cover my entire body. I sent my mind to my apartment, searching for something to use. When I found it I opened my eyes again. 

Suddenly Jake let go with a hiss, blood dripping down his forearm. My old kitchen knife now lying in the sand, covered in blood.

I looked down at my body and saw that I was covered in sand from my shoulders to my feet. He was trying to suffocate me?

"Okay you're pretty good in what you do" Jake admitted, regaining his posture.

"Two can play that game!" I spat. I ran towards him and grabbed him by the throat before teleporting away.

I threw him down with all my force and his back hit the layer of ice. A loud echoing crack sounding. The crash caused Jake to cough a little.

I thrusted my hand forward and the telekinetic force pushed Jake. With a lot of power he got pushed through the ice and ended up in the freezing water of the Arctic. 

It was only when I practically immediately saw the hole freeze again that I noticed how cold it actually was. My teeth were clattering and I couldn't feel my fingers.
