Chapter 15

Louis POV EARLIER

I was lying in bed, we just showed each other our power ideas and I'm exhausted, not just because of our training, but because i had to hide my feelings for Harry, not just to him, but to me too! he can't possibly find out, he will hate me and be disgusted by me! and hiding it from him isn't all too hard, but doing my best not to think about it sucked! it was wearing me out, emotionally AND physically! why did i have to fall in love with a mind reader?!

"LOU?"

crap! that's harry! ehm, think of other stuff, like.... like... birds, trees, potatoes

"POTATOES"

"THAT'S VERY NICE LOU, BUT HAVE YOU SEEN ZAYN? NIALL WANTED TO ASK HIM TO COME TO NANDO'S WITH US, BUT HE ISN'T HERE" Harry shouted from the kitchen

hmm that's weird, Zayn never leaves without telling us

"MAYBE HE'S WITH PERRIE? HASN'T SEEN HER IN A WHILE, MAYBE HE JUST WANTED TO LICK HER-"

"LOUIS THAT IS INAPROPRIATE!" Liam shouted

"I KNOW"

well, whatever it is, i'm sure it's nothing to worry about

i closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep

"Louis wake up!" i opened my eyes to see Liam standing over me

"why? i like it in my bed" i groaned

"something's wrong with Zayn! hurry up!" Liam said before running out of my room

shit! i quickly pulled on some clothes and walked into the living room where Harry and Liam were waiting

"what's happening?" i asked

"Niall is at Nando's and he went to the toilet and saw a giant flame out the window, he texted us, it's probably Zayn" Harry said

what the hell is Zayn doing?

"okay, so what's the plan?" i asked, getting my coat

"Niall made sure the toilets are empty so i'm teleporting us there, from there we will go find Zayn"

"okay"

"ready?"

I nodded

Harry's eyes lit up and we were standing in the toilets, and when  i say in the toilet, i mean IN the toilet

"GROSS! HARRY! LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO MY SHOES" i shouted, trying to shake the dirty water from my feet

"lemme help you with that" I heard behind me, suddenly all the water floated off my shoes and back into the toiletbowl 

i turned around and Niall was standing there

"thanks Ni" i smiled

"don't mention it"

"So, let's go find Zayn" Liam said

we pulled on our hoods and put on our sunglasses, we didn't want to be recognized and we were in a hurry, Liam gave Niall a pair of sunglasses too, that boy always knows what to do.

we quickly walked out of Nando's and in the direction Niall said he saw the fire. after a minute we were out of the city and we got near some kind of forest, that's weird! i didn't know there was a forest around here.

i noticed some light coming from the distance!

maybe that's Zayn!

i wanted to nudge Harry but he already read my mind, "yeah  saw it too Lou! let's go over there"

i nodded, Liam and Niall knew what just happened, the boys have gotten used to one sided conversations

we got closer and i saw that it was a giant flame but... it kind of looked like a human? that must be Zayn! natural fire doesn't look like a giant man, does it?

"watch out guys, i'm going ahead" i said, they stepped aside and i pushed the air behind me and started running, I made it to the fire in a couple of seconds, it looked like it was spreading, SHIT this could cause a forest fire! but, where is Zayn?

i looked around and noticed Zayn, on his knees, looking like he could pass out any minute, i ran towards him.

"I FOUND HIM!" i shouted, i wrapped my arms around Zayn and saw how he closed his eyes, i gently laid him down a couple of feet further away from the fire, by now, Niall, Liam and Harry have made it here.

"the fire is growing and Zayn can't help us! what do we do?" I yelled, starting to panic, no way i could contain THAT much fire with my wind

"uhm..." Harry frantically looked around

his eyes glowed bright blue for a second "i have an idea"

he looked at Liam "Liam can you push the ground underneath the fire down? so it's like a giant pit?"

Liam nodded, before turning to the fire, and held his arms in the air before pushing them down, you could see the concentration on his face, also some beads of sweat, but i don't know if it's because of how difficult this is or because of the heat of the fire

"Niall, there is a small pond nearby, can you move all that water into this pit?" Niall nodded as well, walking away, after a couple of seconds he came back, a big sphere of water floating above him, he dumped the water in the fiery pit, creating a lot of steam.

"okay Lou, the fire is much smaller now, if you could just hold the air above the pit so nothing gets in or out, the fire should die out on it's own"

i nodded, i could handle this, i focused on the air above the pit and forced it down, making it block all air from going in or out, after a couple of minutes, the fire died.

Harry slowly walked towards Zayn, picking him up. Harry was probably the strongest out of all of us right now, not having used a lot of Chi

"i'm gonna teleport back now, i'll come back for you in a second, i'm not sure if i can take all of you that far at once"

we all nodded

his eyes started glowing and he was gone, after about five seconds he was back and took us home too.

Zayn was on the couch, still unconsious. we all sat down as wel, very tired.

not feeling the energy to really talk i looked at Harry and thought

"you were amazing back there Haz"

"all i did was come up with the idea, you guys really saved us"

"can't deny that Hazza" i thought teasingly, if you can even think conversations in certain ways

suddenly a question rose up in my head, so i decided to ask

"Say, Haz, don't you ever get tired of hearing thoughts?"

he looked at me and smiled "sometimes, but not yours, I like your thoughts"  he winked

i blushed, what did he mean by that? oh god, could he hear this too? pinecones! lightning! cheese crackers

"uhm... hey guys"

all our heads snapped towards the couch, where Zayn was with his eyes open, looking at us

"sorry about that"
