Niall POV

Don't look down! Don't look down! Don't look down!

I am usually not very scared of heights, but right now I am walking on the catwalk of the stadium. I can't go too far though, because Zayn's burst of fire from earlier totally shot a whole through the roof, also taking a big piece of the catwalk with it.

I think I must be 100 feet in the air right now, and to say that i'm standing on a steady surface would be optimistic.

But I need to figure out why the sprinklers didn't come on. I need water to fight and you would think a building like this would have proper safety regulations. And there's already been lots of explosions and flames. More than enough to normally activate sprinklers.

I kept walking, trying not to pay attention to the occasional squeeking of the metal construction beneath me. 

That's when I saw them. Three guys and one girl were standing divided on the catwalk, holding their arms up and looking quite focused, they hadn't seen me yet, good.

I followed their arms and saw they were shielding the sprinklers like I thought. There was water coming out of it, but it stopped falling about three inches below the sprinkler.

Jake set people up to stop the water supply! If I didn't hate him with all my guts I would be impressed by his plan.

I need to set those sprinklers free, but in doing so, I'll have to fight them, that means kill them. Although I know killing is part of this life, I would like to save as many lives as possible.

I looked at my arms, where I stored the little water I have left. My left arm was now completely dry, but my right arm was still covered in a coat of hypnotically flowing water. 

How am I gonna do this?

I didn't have time to plan this out very well so I guess I'm gonna have to do something and hope for the best.

I shot all the water I have at the closest man. It hit him right in the face. Surprised he released his power, causing the sprinkler to now flow freely.

I bent the water around his head and froze it. He tried clawing at it but it didn't work. 

Now I have him disorientated but at least I didn't kill him.

The man, blinded by the ice around his face started stumbling down the catwalk. One moment he leaned a little bit too far to the left, and the next he was plummeting down.

"NO!" I didn't mean to shout, but seeing him falling to his death because of me caught me by surprise. The others heard me and suddenly turned towards me.

"Amy get him!" The man furthest away from me shouted. The red headed woman nodded and came running to me, but now, I was armed.

I quickly steered all the water coming from the sprinkler to the woman, covering her entire body. I then froze her to the ground, she couldn't move. I ran past her, taking more water from the sprinkler with me.

I coated my fingers in water, creating big sharp nails. I froze the nails and shot them right at the other two, who simply deflected it with arms covered in ice.
