Chapter 14

Zayn POV

crap! i was so proud of myself for being able to pierce through a stone wall, and yet Niall's move was way better! it's not that i don't like him or anything, but all my life i've tried to be the best, and most of the time, it worked, which made it all the more frustrating that Niall was beating me in controlling his power!

i have to get better, i have to get stronger if i wanna be the tough one out of the group! i could see it didn't bother Liam, Louis or Harry one bit. how could that be? Niall is supposed to be the cute innocent one, not the strong powerful? don't get me wrong, i love him to bits, but i can't stand this

that's how i ended up in the car, at 3 AM, driving for a very long time, when I got out of the car, i walked into a forest, an old unknown forest, i went here all the time when i felt like the fame was getting to much, to just clear my head and relax. but now, i didn't want to relax. i walked all the way to an open field in the middle of the forest, as expected, nobody was there, hell, i don't think anybody except me even knows this forest exists!

i created a flame, about the size of fridge, but i wanted it to get bigger, so i made it the size of a car, but it still wasn't enough, after a while i noticed i reached my limit, the flame was now the size of a house but i still felt that it wasn't good enough.

i needed it to get more controlled! I focused all my energy into the flame, mentally telling it what shape to take, it worked for a while, becoming a giant sphere of fire, then i wanted it to become a square. that wasn't too hard. now for the real challenge

I focused really hard, putting all my energy into the fire, giving it arms and legs, and shaping it like a person. when i looked up, i saw that indeed, the flame had turned into a human looking shape, completely made out of fire! YES! 

my excitement didn't last very long as i noticed i couldn't hold the fire in check anymore, i'd used up all my Chi!, the fire started getting bigger and bigger, losing it's shape. long streaks of fire reaching out in every direction, i tried to make it shrink but all my power was drained from me, i fell to my knees. the fire seemed to spread and almost reached the trees.

suddenly I heard "I FOUND HIM" before a couple of arms embraced me, i couldn't see who it was, but i also didn't have the energy to wonder, because everything went black.

HEY GUYS!

this was a short chapter but i feel like we haven't really seen Zayn in this story.

i'm sorry if Zayn comes across as a bit of a dick and it is not because i don't like Zayn, it's just that every story needs some variation and not just happy things and carefree people, but don't worry! it's not ALL drama

don't forget to vote and comment, especially if you have some things i could improve on (seeing as this is my first story)

(and about the Larry action, that will come next chapter, i thought this would be important for the storyline first)
