Chapter 13

Harry POV

it's been a month since Blaine told us about Jake and we've been training very hard, we've made great progress so far, once we were all trained in the basics, Blaine made us think of original ways to use our elements, we have to show each other today, first up was Louis.

Louis walked to the middle of the room and looked at us, suddenly we heard we saw a flash coming our way at the speed of light and then Louis was standing there, barely an inch away from me, grinning like an idiot

i bet they weren't expecting this he thought

"you're right, what'd you do?" I asked, he didn't even seem suprised anymore that i read his thoughts

"I used the wind to push me forward very fast, but it doesn't end here" he said smugly

suddenly, Louis was growing, what? no, not growing! he was floating! I looked around to see the boys also looking wide eyed.

"I CAN FLY! HOW AWESOME IS THIS" Louis said

"well, not fly, you're actually just using the thrust of the wind beneath you and you use your hands to control your direction" Blaine said "and however "awesome" this is, it is also quite useful

Louis nodded before landing back on the ground and sitting back with us

"okay Li! your turn!" Niall exlaimed, he obviously couldn't wait to see the boys use their powers, although i still couldn't read his mind, i had to ask Blaine about that"

Liam stood up and also walked to the center of the room, he looked at us before smirking "alright, here goes"

he stomped both his feet on the ground and suddenly the ground beneath him started crawling up his feet and legs, covering his entire body, when it was done, all that was visible were his eyes and mouth, he was entirely covered in a stone armor

"Blaine, can you hit me with that statue over there?" Liam asked pointing at a giant statue of an old looking man

"couldn't you have picked something less expensive" Blaine sighed before lifting up the statue mentally (making his eyes glow) and throwing it at Liam, there was a loud bang and a lot of dust and we were all coughing.

when the smoke cleared we could see the statue shattered in a thousand pieces on the ground, and Liam still stood there, not a crack in his armor

"wow" we all whispered

"good Liam, now if you can practice to cover yourself quicker, you have a really good defense mechanism" Blaine said, making Liam smile widely before returning to his seat

"okay, Zayn, you're next"

Zayn stood up, looking cool as ever, walked to the middle of the room and asked "Liam, can you make a wall? the strongest wall you can make"

Liam nodded, before moving his arms up, very concentrated, suddenly from the ground, a big stone wall emerged, at least two feet thick

"thanks" Zayn said, before concentrating. He put his hands in the air and instead of making a fist, he flattened them, as if he was about to give a high five. suddenly his hands began to glow, the glow started getting brighter and brighter, until eventually it were flames. Zayn's hands were covered in calm, red flames. looking pleased with the result, he pushed his hands at the wall, going straight through, leaving two smoking holes in the wall, before looking back at us

"Good job Zayn, you found a way to incorporate your element in short range, which is good, because Fire is long ranged most of the time, now go back to your seat"
