Louis let out a sigh, looking out the window of the car. His manager who was driving, glanced in the mirror to look at Louis.

"What's the matter?" He asked, eyes on the road. Louis didn't answer right away. He stayed quiet for a few minutes, watching the buildings they passed by.

"I'm just nervous." He admitted. His manager frowned. "Nervous? What for? It's just your mothers birthday."

But it wasn't just a birthday. It was an event where Harry would be. It was today that Harry would ask for an answer.

Of course he liked Harry, but it was a 10 year age gap. It was a huge difference. Louis wasn't sure if he was comfortable with that.

He let out another sigh. "Why did she decide to do it at a pub this year? She should have done that with only her friends."

"Is that what bothers you? That it's at a pub?" His manager asked. Louis nodded. The fact that it was at a pub added to his nervousness. They would all be drinking so who knew what would end up happening with Harry.

The car stopped in front of the pub, making Louis' heart beat faster. He stayed in the car for a few minutes until his manager told him that he needed to go in.

"Can you come in with me? You don't have any plans anyways." Louis looked over at the manager, hoping that he would agree. The men frowned. "How would you know that I have no plans."

"Because you have no friends except for your wife who is in America at the moment." His manager groaned, getting out of the car.

Louis smiled, also stepping out. His manager glared at him, walking a step faster then Louis. They stepped in and Louis followed his manager who was already walking towards Jay.

"Happy birthday Jay." His manager smiled when he reached her. Jay smiled. "Oh Liam, thank you. I didn't know you would come."

"Louis asked me to join him. I hope you don't mind."

"Of course not. You are always welcomed."

Louis finally reached them. His eyes connected with green ones before he could even say a word to his mother. Harry stood a few feet away with a beer in his hand. He stared at Louis, who quickly looked away as he felt his face heat up.

Louis greeted Jay before walking off with Liam to greet everyone else. They then reached Harry who was with a few other guys. Harry's eyes stayed on Louis while everyone greeted each other.

"Liam! Nice to see you!" One of the guys exclaimed when seeing Liam. Harry's eyes finally left Louis and landed on Liam. The manager smiled while greeting the guys. He then turned to Harry. "Hi, I'm Liam." He stuck out his hand to shake. Harry looked down at the hand, then back up at Liam's face. He then turned around and walked away without a word.

Everyone watched him walk away in shock. Louis wasn't sure what was happening. Harry was usually all smiles and would talk to anyone.

"Don't mind him. It's his first time in a pub so he's very nervous." One of the guys said. Liam smiled and nodded, saying that he understood.

Louis and Liam then sat down in a both with the group of guys and ordered drinks. Harry only reappeared an hour after. One of the guys called him over to sit with them and Harry did as told. This time, it was Harry who wouldn't dare look up at Louis. His eyes stayed on his drink the whole time.

"Harry, I heard this is your first time at a pub. How old are you?" Liam asked, trying to break the awkwardness between them. Harry glanced up at him before looking back down. "I'm 18, sir."

Liam laughed. "Don't call me sir! It makes me feel old." Harry didn't say anything, making Liam stop laughing very quickly.

After another hour, some of them were starting to get drunk. Harry was only on his second beer of the night, just like Louis and Liam. The young man watched the others while they laughed at nothing and sang loudly to the music being played.

Liam put a hand on Louis' shoulder. "You can drink some more if you want. I'll stop now to be sure you get home safe." Louis smiled, glad that he had a thoughtful manager.

Harry stood up at that moment, making everyone look up at him. "I need to use the bathroom." He announced before leaving. Louis watched him for a moment before getting up and following him.

Harry hadn't tried even once to seduce Louis, which was weird. Louis was getting concerned and wanted to know what was happening.

He stepped in the bathroom soon after Harry, making the young man turn his head to see who it was. He quickly looked away, going back to his business.

"Is everything alright?" Louis asked. He was expecting to get ignored, so he was surprised when Harry answered. "Everything is just perfect." He then walked over to the sink to wash his hands. Louis stood behind him.

"Something's wrong. I can see it." Louis said.

"Why are you here? You shouldn't just leave your boyfriend alone like that."

Louis let out a laugh, understanding what was happening. Harry thought that Liam was his boyfriend and he was jealous.

Louis grabbed Harry's arm, turning him around so they were facing each other. "Liam's just my manager. Also, he has a wife."

Harry's eyes widened, making Louis smile at his cuteness. "He's not your boyfriend?" He asked and Louis shook his head.

"So it's okay if I kiss you?" Before Louis could even answer, his lips had connected with Harry's. He stayed frozen for a moment, surprised at the sudden contact. He soon responded to the kiss while wrapping his arms around Harry's waist.

After a bit, Harry pulled away with a smile. "I'm glad." Louis laughed. "I can see that."
