Louis was skipping around his apartment as he got ready for his mothers birthday party. He would finally see Harry again after a whole year.

He had tried to contact Harry after the kiss last year but it was like Harry had completely disappeared. He had even gone to see Gemma for answers. The girl had simply said that Harry could do strange things at times.

Louis grabbed his keys and walked out the door. He ran to his car, making him receive looks from his neighbours.

When arriving to his mothers house, he ran to the front door. He stopped before walking in, taking in a deep breath. He was finally going to see Harry again. He opened the front door with a giant smile. It soon fell when he saw that the house was empty. He walked around, looking for his family. He finally found them in the back yard.

His mother looked up at him, surprised. "Louis? Aren't you a little early?" She asked.

"I am?" He looked down at his watch to see that indeed, he was almost 2 hours early. He let out a sigh. He had been too excited to see Harry that he hadn't thought about the time.

He took a seat next to Jay, putting his head back. "How's work?" She asked.

"Tiring." He answered. "I got home at 5 this morning because of filming."

"You should go take a nap in your room then. Ill wake you up when people get here." Louis nodded, unable to refuse some rest. He barely got any sleep lately. A nap would do him some good.

He walked inside and to his room where he fell on his bed. Within minutes he was passed out.

Louis was awoken by the sound of many voices talking at once. He looked around, confused as to what was going on. Once he remembered why he was in his old room, he looked down at his watched to see the time. His eyes widened, seeing that it was well into the party. Jay had probably decided that he needed more sleep and left him there.

Louis got up and opened the door to his room, seeing many people walking around. He looked out the window and saw that it was already dark out. What if Harry had already left since Louis wasn't there.

"Louis! Where were you?" He turned around to see Gemma walking up to him with a smile. He smiled back, giving her a hug. "Sorry, I fell asleep."

"Is Harry here?" He asked right as they pulled away. She laughed. "Is he the only thing you thing about?" He shrugged, making her laugh harder.

"He's out by the fire." She didn't have time to say anything else. Louis was already making his way out to the backyard. He spotted Harry right away. He was standing by the fire next to Louis' cousins. His cousins were all talking together while Harry stood a few feet away, glancing over to them from time to time.

Louis shivered as a cool breeze hit him. He then noticed how Harry had his arms around himself, trying to warm himself up while standing by the fire. Louis walked over, unsure how to say hi. He was scared that it would be awkward.

Once he reached Harry, he wrapped his arms around him from behind which made Harry jump in surprise.

"Why aren't you inside if you're this cold?" Louis asked. He put his head on the younger boy's shoulder, smiling as his curls tickled his cheek.

"I like it out here." Harry answered in his raspy voice. Louis smiled, realizing that he had missed Harry more then he had thought.

"It's been a while, hasn't it?" Harry nodded in response. "Why is that?" Louis went on to ask.

Harry moved out of Louis' arms, turning around to look at him. "What do you mean?"

"You basically disappeared for a whole year. I called but you never answered. I went to your place but each time I did, you were out. I even went to see Gemma." Harry chuckled.

"I was trying to keep the magic of it all." He answered. Louis frowned. "The magic?" Harry nodded.

"It's exciting. Two people in love who only see each other once a year and that even if they don't see each other much, the love never disappears."

Louis starred at him for a moment, unsure what to answer. It was cute of Harry to think that way and knew he was somehow right but he didn't want this. He didn't want something that happened only once a year.

"You need to stop watching movies." Louis answered.

"Says the one acting in them." Harry said with a smirk. Louis chuckled. "Whatever."

"I missed you." Harry said after a moment of silence. Louis smiled. "You have no idea how much I missed you."

"I hope next time we come to this party, we can come together as a couple." Louis said, making Harry look up at him. "What?"

"I'm asking you to be my boyfriend you idiot."

"What happened to me being just a kid?" Harry asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You gave me a whole year to think about this. I decided that I didn't care." Harry nodded in understandment.

"So, what's the answer?" Louis asked.

Harry shrugged with a playful smile. "I guess I could be your boyfriend. It doesn't sound so bad." Louis chuckled. He grabbed Harry's face in his hands, kissing him.

"Don't disappear for a whole year on me again." Louis whispered.

"I won't."
