Hey Hey Hey, so I have been in hospital all day mostly, because my stupid foot is still broken but hopefully I will get helped on tuesday because I now have appointment with a senior Doctor....but anyway here is my new chapter.

Worst Night Mare: Decided, Leads to more Decisions

“We want it to be a surprise” I said, I felt Dan grin into my hair, glad that I felt the same as him. I knew that both of us would love the baby no matter the sex. Doctor Marcus nodded, and came towards us shutting the folder that he had been holding open it must have the sex inside it. “Right well do either of you have any questions before you go?” He said looking between me and Dan as he scrapped the jelly of my stomach whipping it clean then pulling down my top for me. I shook my head and Dan must have done the same because Doctor Marcus smiled and said “Well, come back in a few weeks, for another ultra-scan and if you have any questions to hesitate to ring me.” Dan and I took that as our cue to leave so I got up, and started heading to the door.

Before I could open it however Dan’s arm was around my waist and the other hand opening the door for me, I still couldn’t believe that I had managed to get Dan as my boyfriend he was prefect, and he loves me. I couldn’t help the grin which spread across my face at the thought of this, and the thought that I would be having his baby which I could only hope would grow up like his or her father. “What you smiling about beautiful?” I heard Dan ask once the door was closed behind us, I looked up into his handsome face “We our having a baby” I said sounding more excited than I had meant to. He grinned down at me and then kissed my lips softly, pulling away only after a few seconds “I know” he whispered like it was our secret.

We walked hand in hand back to the waiting room were my dad and Zander’s mum were now sat in chairs side by side each with a plastic cup from the water fountain. My dad looked away from Katie to us as we approached. He smiled “How did it go?” he asked looking from me to Dan and back again, “Great anything is fine the baby healthy and so is Izzy” said Dan smiling as if he was happy that he had remembered the important information.

I shook my head, Dan had told me in one of the quiet moments we shared that he was scared he would be a bad father but I told him he was ridiculous and he would be a great father and from then on he seemed to be proving it to me and himself like stuff such as the car, his new flat which I saw that day for the first time. Dan would be taking me there after we left the hospital so we could tell Chris, Chad and Zander who were there about the ultra-scan.

Katie and dad both smiled, “Do you know the sex?” asked Katie glancing at each of us in turn we both shook our heads in unison, she beamed “Oh surprise then” we smiled at each other and I nodded when Dan said “Yeah”. “Well Izzy I got to go back to work, Jack been covering for me but I think it time he went home.” I nodded hugging my dad, and watched as he and Katie nodded at each other. On the way to the door dad slapped Dan on the shoulder in a half fatherly way, dad and Jack both liked Dan but were still a bit awkward with him because he got there little princess pregnant.  

Dan opened the door for me and I stepped out of the passenger seat of the car. I looked round to see that the block of flats were big massive, but they looked amazing and expensive. I felt Dan’s warm fingers lace through mine “Their waiting, come on” he said dragging me towards the big double doors of the flat.

“Hey Vince” said Dan as he waved at the security man who grinned back “Dan” then his eyes moved down to me, I looked Vince over he must be about the same age as my dad, he was dark skinned, with a grin which would make anyone happy even on a raining Monday morning he was well built but I guess he had to be to a security guard “Is this her?” Vince asked looking away from me to Dan.
