I walked through the door to see smiling Vic; I was pulled into a hug from him making me smile. “Hey Izzy how are you?” I nodded glancing at a grinning Dan “Fine” Vic smiled back “Oh you father rang and invited us to all come with you, tonight.” I rolled my eyes sighing in other words my dad had invited more people which I would end up cooking for. “Cool, we will be back down at seven” said Dan wrapping his arm round my waist.

Dan opened the door allowing me to go through first, to find Zander and Chad playing on x-box or PlayStation I didn’t know.  Chris was sat watching but seeming bored out of her head which was good for me because I need to talk to her. I glanced at the clock to see I had an hour to talk to her about Mark before we had to be back down stairs to go to dad’s house.

I sat next to her, as Dan nudged Chad telling him he wanted a go at kicking Zander’s ass next. Chris looked up at me smiling, and I couldn’t help but think she looked pale, there was also bags under her eyes, making her look like she hadn’t slept. Seeing this made me change the words half way out of my mouth “You feeling ok?” I asked her smile faltered and she shrugged “I am just tired Izzy no need to worry.” I don’t know if I believed her a hundred precent but it was obvious she didn’t what to talk about it so I let it slide, and said what I was going to instead. “You want to go get ready to go to my dad’s” I said pointing over my shoulder to were her room was. She smiled at this and her face straight away looked better, healthier more alive.

“Yeah” she got up first walking in front of the guys games, making them shout at her to get out the way. Chad swore at his sister when Zander shot him, making her laugh running out the room. I smiled watching Chad jump up running after her. Dan who was chuckling looked up at me, putting a hand on my waist, “You ok?” I only then realised I had been staring through the doorway Chad and Chris had vanished through grinning like an idiot. I shook my head to clear it “Yeah fine” a smile came over his face and I smiled back only seeing love in his sparkling eyes.

I looked back at the door way when Chad came through it with a frown on his face and dripping with water. “Chad what happened?” asked Zander in a baby voice, Chad glared at him as he was about to sit down on the sofa. “Come on Izzy” I looked again to see that Chris was now hanging from the door frame with a massive grin on her face. I laughed and walked over to her, we walked through to her bedroom.

We got out makeup, and I sat cross legged next to were Chris was lying on her back with her head up against three pillows. I shook the black nail polish before unscrewing it and starting to paint her nails. “So Chris how’s your love life?” I asked glancing at her with a smirk before looking back down to her nails. She giggled “Well nothing really” she said but when I looked up I saw she was no longer looking at me; however she suddenly found her white duvet very interesting. “Oh really that’s hard to believe” I said turning her hand so I could do her thumb. “No really I don’t even have a date to the prom” I looked up at her and frowned, not because she didn’t have a date to the prom but because I didn’t. I hadn’t even thought about it, it was in less than a month time, of course I will be seven months pregnant but that doesn’t mean I can’t go right.
