30. Family

Tove's P.O.V.

Flashback

I was walking down a relatively busy corridor on the Heli-carrier. I was on my way to my desk as I had 3 hours until my next mission briefing. As I was walking down the corridor I saw Tony walking towards me. After working here for about 6 months now, we had become good friends. Before we passed he stuck his tounge out at me, so I stuck mine out at him. After he passed me he turned into a lab where he was off to work with Bruce. Before I could continue to my desk I heard something.

"It's not very lady like to stick your tounge out at people." I froze and it felt as if the room temperature had dropped 10 degrees.

"No." I whispered. They can't be here.

Dreading who would be standing behind me, I turned around. My fears had been confirmed.

There, standing in the place I call home and where all my friends were, was my mother, father and sister.

I clenched my fists, gritted my teeth and tried to compose myself. After what felt like eternity I decided to speak.

"I'm sorry, were you talking to me?" I asked, shakily.

"Don't lie. You know exactly who I was talking to." She said.

"I'm afraid I don't understand."

"And don't act like you don't know us." He said.

"I don't know who you are. You have no significance to me. I believe you don't have a pass to be here. If you are looking for the visitor's desk then I'm afraid your on the wrong floor. Take that elevator down two floors and go to corridor B. The desk is there. Good day." And with that I turned on my heel and went back to work.

I'm so sorry. I have exams coming up so I'm stressed and I didn't know what to write and I forgot yesterday and I panicked but hopefully I'll be better next week.
