I placed my feet up and rest my head back, I turned with a smirk to see the wounded man passed out with duck tape over his mouth and around his hands and legs. I would have never thought that a surveillance room would have that kind of supply, I guess I was lucky.

I went to retrieve my dumbass friend from the lobby. I was fortunate he listened to my instructions unlike Maggie who was still nowhere to be seen. Hopefully the footage would shed some light on this situation. Jason looked freaked out by the unconscious man that slouched in the corner. "What are you going to do with this guy?"

I shrugged, swinging on my chair a little. "Let's just find out what these people are up to first and possibly find out where Maggie went." I said as I sat up properly and pushed a few buttons that went back to when we first heard the shots.

There were many mini TVs up above us with every single camera that was available. I went to the live stream where people were still being held hostage, unfortunately there were no sounds that came with it so if I wanted to find out why they wanted me, I couldn't. All I knew is that they knew my father but, how?

I switched back a few hours from when we heard the shots; I went to camera five to inside our building. I saw the part where I went down to the library and saw the dead body. "There was a dead body down there!" Jason screeched, making me roll my eyes.

I went to camera four which was our hallway to all the dorms on that floor. I waited a few seconds after I left and waited for Maggie to emerge. She definitely didn't go down to the library, I would have seen her. After about five minutes of me leaving the room, Maggie came out with a terrified expression on her face. "There she is. Now, where did you go?" I asked myself as she disappeared from our view.

I watched to see where she went and she slowly walked with a pair of scissors in her hands and she left into the darkness. "I told her to stay put." I muttered while zooming in as she disappeared into another dorm room. I went to camera seven and waited for her to come out and into the open but she didn't show. I fast forwarded until five minutes was up and nothing. I fast forwarded again and saw me emerge from the inside.

"She was in that room the entire time!" Jason said, annoyed. I nodded and realised that this was all the cameras that were shown in our building and I really didn't have time to go through every single floor's camera to see if she went up.

After I left, Maggie emerged out of the room and came back into our dorm. I shook my head at how close we were, I fast forwarded until it showed Maggie leaving again and disappearing into the darkness. I switched cameras and she entered the stairwell.

"She may have went upstairs," I said, feeling slightly annoyed, "or downstairs." She could have gone either way and there was no way of knowing, especially if there weren't any cameras in that specific area.

I then saw Jason and I come back to our dorm, I fast forwarded it and Maggie didn't come back after that. I put it back on live feed, wondering where she went. She could be dead for all I knew and we would be looking for a body instead.

The guy over in the corner moaned and he was slowly waking up. "Jason, look in every single floor. See if she went into another room on another floor."

He nodded, taking the controls as I approached the man and bent down over the guy who was waking up. "Sure but, what are you going to do?"

I turned to him with a pleasant smile. "You let me worry about that, okay?"

Who would have known that a kitchen was right next door to the surveillance room. I pulled up a chair opposite the wounded man; he stared back at me with nothing but sinister eyes. I smirked and looked towards the kitchen bench where a whole set of knifes sat, just waiting to be used.
