Alexis.
My eyes were sealed shut, not wanting to look at the horrors of my best friend's lifeless body. "Ah, shit! I missed." I heard a familiar voice yell at the top of his lungs.
My eyes shot open to that sound and a scream filled the room. "It's okay, mate. There's a first time for everything." I heard another familiar voice and I looked up to see Joe holding his shoulder in pain as more shots rippled through the air, killing the rest of the guards.
My eyes darted to the two guys who just saved our lives. "Spencer, Noah?" I asked, too shocked and surprised to say anything else.
Maggie still had her eyes shut, blocking everything out. "Yes, we don't have time to talk. More people are coming." Noah raced over to one of the guards and retrieved a small key to unlock my handcuffs. He came over to me and bent down, his eyes smiled when they looked at me and I didn't think he would ever let go again.
I heard the handcuffs unlock and I raced over to where Spencer was. He was helping Maggie out of the chair; she slowly opened her eyes as Noah pinned down Joe Lock who got shot in the shoulder. Maggie looked from Spencer to me with a scared expression on her face. "Is this heaven or hell?"
Spencer chuckled as we both untied one hand and let Maggie go. She was still shaking as she fell to the ground. "Maggie, its Lex. You're safe now." I reassured her as Spencer and I both held her up and took her by the door as Noah threw punches at Joe.
"Noah!" I yelled in frustration. "We gotta go!" I said as I opened the door and walked out into the hallway. He soon followed as Spencer and I put Maggie down, leaning her against the wall. "Keep her safe." I told Spencer as I hurried towards Noah.
"Hey, I missed you," Noah's cheesy smile sent shivers up my spine but I brushed it away and hit his arm. He pretended that it hurt as I heard footsteps coming our way.
"We've got company, Noah. Let's save the hugs and kisses for later, okay?" I flashed a smile before seeing a bunch of guys come our way with guns.
If we decided to have a shoot off, there was nowhere to hide. I stood in the middle of the hallway and put my hands up in surrender. "Let's play it fair," I said to the three men and one girl who stood in our way of leaving this place, "put your weapons down and fight like men."
Noah chuckled as he stood beside me, chucking his gun to the side. "I've always wanted to do this with you," he whispered to me, "it's like a cool action movie!"
I rolled my eyes and tightened my hair tie in my hair. "Trust me, this is not like the movies." Everyone I saw chucked their guns to the side with smirked plastered all over their faces. "I'll take the girl."
"You're not going to win, Alexis." Spencer yelled from behind me while crouching down to Maggie's height who had passed out from the pain.
I turned my head to glare at Spencer; he just had to ruin the moment. "You just shut up and stay with Maggie." I said to him while gazing at Noah who cracked his knuckles, acting like he was Mike Banning from Olympus Has Fallen.
I loved that film.
I could totally take them on. Not by myself but with a little help, we would be out of here in no time. I glared at the girl with blond hair wearing all black, looking smug and I raced up to her and jumped her. She fell to the ground and I began punching her until blood covered her face, she grabbed my hair and tumbled me over so she was on top of me.
I saw Noah in the background taking on the guys. He was punching and kicking, getting pinned to a wall but he head butted them in the process, knocking one of them out but this wasn't over. He got jump as I was tackling the girl. I knew I couldn't be killed, they wouldn't even dare. She wrapped her cold hands around my neck and began squeezing; I could feel my face go red and my breath getting caught in my throat.
