ridiculously cute..

why did jeremie's mom react like that? it's her daughter's birthday, how could she be so rude? there's something really wrong.. these thought ran around in justin's mind all the time. but what he thought about the most was why did jeremie's frown hurt him so much? why did her smile make his heart skip a beat? why did her hug tingle something inside him? why did he feel like never pulling back? is this what people call...love? and even if it was, did she feel the same way about him? he wanted to know. he really really did. but how could he let her know? so..i'm in love? he asked himself. totally. a voice in the back of his mind whispered. he shook his head at the stupidity of this all. this was ridiculously...cute! :P

~evening~ 

he wore a t-shirt with 'dope' printed on it and teamed it with a black jean. jeremie had loved this t-shirt. she even complimented him once when he wore it at the island. he ran his fingers through his hair trying to make them look perfect. his phone ringed and the screen flashed 'jeremie calling' 

"hey." he said.

"justin, where are you?" she asked.

"home, i'm about to leave. why?" he asked.

"umm, i just wanted to tell you, umm, what happened in the afternoon. uh..i" jeremie trailed off.

"jeremie, it's okay. totally. forget it." he said.

"hmm." she said and exhaled.

"so, you all ready?" he asked.

"yep." she replied.

"we're going to Ariel right? that restaurant?" justin asked.

"yeah." 

"who're you going with?" he asked.

"jessie." jeremie said.

"okay." he replied.

"i'll see you there then." she said. and they hung up

jeremie's mind was filled with worry. she had been so embarrassed in the afternoon, it had made everything so awkward. she did not want it to remain that way. maybe calling justin ended the awkwardness. hopefully. she shooed away the thought and started towards jessie's car, slid in. switched on the radio and turned the volume up..
