"So I ended up going with someone else. I knew Pac wouldn't like that but I did it anyway to make him mad and because, well... Dorian seemed like a nice guy. Me and Pac had this weird type of friendship where we weren't dating, but we acted like we were anyway. "
Jada walked into Calculus class. She absolutely despised this class but it looked good on a college resume. So she sat in the third row, ready for thirty minutes of torture. Suddenly gush of good smelling colone flew past her nose.
She turned to see a fine ass nigga sitting next to her, with brown skin and curly black hair. He licked his lips before smiling and opened his books. She smiled back nerovusly before she did the same. She caught herself glancing at him every now and then. He was just too FINE. The teacher startled her.
"Mrs. Pinkett. Do you know the answer?"
She flinched before scratching her head. She was totally lost. "Um, no sorry Mr. Frederick."
"Hmm, what was that?" Mr, Frederick asked. "She said the answer was 0." Jada turned her head to the fine ass gentlemen next to her. When he spoke his voice was deep. And he just saved her ass. "Thank you Mr. Grey but I believe I asked Mrs. Pink-"
"She has a cold. She can't speak up. " The guy lied. They both turned to look at her and she faked a cough and shrugged her shoulders. "Hmmm..." Mr. Frederick said before turning back to the board. Jada smiled at him.
When the bell rang she started to collect her things and he stopped her. "Hey." She turned around slowly to face him. "Oh hi," She said nervously. "I'm Dorian."
"Um, Jada." She said shaking his hand and smiling weakly. "If you didn't already hear." He nodded laughing. "Thank you, for helping me before." She said. He nodded. "No problem. Catch you later." He said walking past her. Okay, so that went well. Jada thought to herself.
Pac got home sighing as he saw his beat mother passed out on the table. He walked over placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Mama, you alright?"
She looked up quickly. "Oh no! I'ma be late for work." She said with a tired eyes as she gathered her car keys and purse. "Mama, you look exhausted. Stay home today." He told her sympathetically. There mother, despite being alone worked hard for him and his sister to live comfortably. "I can't, I have to earn money-"
"Mama, please. Take this." He said pulling a stack of money out of his pocket. It was atleast two hundred dollars in change. "Oh Tupac... where'd you get all this money?" She asked with horrified eyes. "I earned it for you. Take it." She started to cry and took her son by his head and pulled him into a hug. "I love you son. I love you so much." He nodded and rested his chin on her head as he rubbed her back. "I love you too."
But little did she know he was about to rob a bank.
Jada left the school, and Michelle was riding home with her date to the dance Cameron. "I tell you, Cameron is such a gentle man!" Michelle swooned as they walked down the steps. "Yeah yeah, you said that about a million times girl," Jada groaned. She just wouldn't shut up.
"So, have you found a date yet?" Michelle asked flipping her hair. Jada sighed. "Not yet, girl. I can't believe I was so stupid think Pac would come through for me this time."
Michelle gave a sympathetic look and ran her hand down Jada's arm. "It's okay. Are you sure you don't want me to find you somebody?" She asked raising her eyebrows. Jada shook her head quickly. That wouldn't go well. Last time she did that Jada ended up with a complete jack ass.
"Oh, alright. There's Cameron. I'm sure you'll find somebody girl." Michelle said side hugging her. Jada nodded and smiled then waved to her as she left. She turned her head to the left seeing someone approach her in her peripheral vision. Once she saw it was Pac she shook her head walking down the steps but he grabbed her elbow.
"Jay, come on. You ain't never been mad at me this long before!" He groaned as she pulled away. "That's because you ain't ever done anything this stupid before!" She answered back running across the street. She was walking alone for a while before a call pulled up. The car beeped. What did this person want from her? Sighing and turning her head she saw Dorian. She perked up. "Oh, hey Dorian!"
"Hey Jada, you need a ride home?"
A smile grew on her face as she looked back at the school. Pac was gone. She got in and he revved up the engine driving off.
Once they reached the house she smiled and looked at him. "Thank you. For the ride." He nodded resting his hand on the steering wheel. Jada bit her lip. He looked hella sexy like that. He wasn't as brollic as Pac but he was tall and slender.
"Um I was wondering if you wanted to go with me to the dance?"He asked as she started to get out. "Yes. I 'd love too." She said after thinking over the question a bit. "Great, what's your number?" He asked biting his lip. She ripped a peice of paper out of one of her notebooks and asked, "Uhhh do you have a pen or pencil?"
He bit his lip nervously looking around before lassing her a blue inked pen. Scribbling it real quick she handed it to him and waved before getting out.
"See you later!" He calked to her and she smiled over her shoulder as she walked up the stairs to her home. But as she she lay awake that night, she wished It was Pac she was going with.
