A Lullaby for two

-Zane's POV 2 weeks later-
Travis is freaking pissing me off. All he does is apologize to me and he thinks it's going to work.
I'm board with out him but he needs to prove he cares about me. I'm not just his little toy he can go and play with when ever he wants to.

I looked at the clock and it said 8:30 pm.
I let out a long groan.
I'm going to the café to get some coffee.
I get up and grab my jacket and scarf because fall was coming.
I walk out the door and I feel and sudden breeze rushes on me.
I sniffed feeling the tip of my nose become cold.
I walked down the street and saw Travis sitting on his porch and talking to Aaron and I hid behind a tree.
How did he not see me? I'm less than 20 feet away!

"What am I suppose to do Aaron?" Travis sobbed in his hands.
"You know him the best what does he like to do?" Aaron asked him while rubbing his back.
" he likes to draw and sing and - " he sobbed and then was stopped.
"NO!" Aaron said aloud and Travis looked at him.
"What does he like to do with you!" He said.
He stayed silent and then spoke softly.
"He likes to bake, talk, Play games, joke around, and..... Ride on my shoulders." He smiled at the last part.
I put my back to the tree and felt my face flush.
Why would he tell Aaron about that!
"Wait why does any of that matter?" He asked.
"Because it proves you listen to him." Aaron said.
There was a long silence.

"Hey Aaron why are you helping me with this anyway. Zane has been a total jerk to you." Travis said a little down.

"Well .... I'm just trying to return a favor for Zane." He said.
"What favor?" He asked.
"Zane helped me get with Aphmau even though he liked her." He said.
"Wait so does that mean you..." He started then sounded upset.
"Yes, I like Zane more than a friend.....but he likes you so I want you two to be happy together. Just like me and Aphmau used to be." He said a little happy.

I sat back down and covered my face to hide my blush.
"Bye." Aaron said.
I saw him walk to his house and he didn't see me.

I felt my nose start to feel weird and then I let out a small quite sneeze.

I herd the leaves crunching and I froze with my hand over my mouth.
Then I felt a pair of warm hands on my hand and then my head was pulled up.
"Z-Zane!?!?" He said shocked but happy.
I didn't say anything, I froze and sniffed.
"Zane it's freezing out here with this wind!" He said more seriously.
"I-I'm f-f-fine." I shivered out.
"No your not I'm taking you home right now." He said a little worried.
"I'll b-b-be f-f-f-fine." I stuttered.
He picked me up in a bridle carry then started jogging to my house.

He was so warm

I had my arms wrapped around his neck and my head snuggled in his chest.
It caused some of the shivering to go away.
He got into my house and placed me on the sofa and took my jacket and scarf off. Then he got the warmest blanket I had and tucked me in it.
Then he ran in the kitchen and came out with a cup of coffee and handed it to me.
I took a sip of it.
It was sweet and hit but not to hot to burn me.
He sat next to me and crossed his legs and his arms and faced me.
"So do you mind explain what you were doing out side listening to my conversation with Aaron." He said a little angry.

"I was going to go to the café and then I saw you two talking and I ......" I stopped and felt my cheeks flush again. I looked away.

"Did you get jealous?" He asked seriously.
I looked at him with my bright face.
"N-NO! I was just....." I couldn't think of an excuse.
He grabbed my arms and I felt a chill run up my spine.
"Don't lie to me." He said.
I looked at the floor and bit my bottom lip.
He creased my cheek. I looked at him and he had a soft smile.
I sniffed a little.
"It's okay if you were, but you know I will always be yours." He said sweetly.
He hugged me tightly and then kissed my cheek.
I place my mug on the table and then he looked at me.
"What?" I asked.
"Will you sing me a song?" He asked a little nervous.
I looked at him and he then looked down and he sniffed.

I put my hands on his cheeks and pulled his face up and smushed my lips on his. He stiffened up and then melted into it.

He moved his hands to my shoulders and then I broke the kiss.
"So does this mean....." He stopped.
"Yes I forgive you....but I want you to hang out with me tomorrow." I said.
"YES!..... Will you sing me a song now." He asked.

I nodded my head.

( cue music)

Fate has been cruel and order unkind

So great was her reign and so brilliant her glory
That long was the shadow she cast
Which fell dark upon the young sister she loved
And grew only darker as days and nights passed

Bear up my lullaby, winds of the earth
Through cloud, and through sky, and through space

Carry the peace and the coolness of night
And carry my sorrow in kind
Luna, you're loved so much more than you know
Forgive me for being so blind

Soon did that pony take notice that others
Did not give her sister her due
And neither had she loved her as she deserved
She watched as her sister's unhappiness grew

But such is the way of the limelight, it sweetly
Takes hold of the mind of its host
And that foolish pony did nothing to stop
The destruction of one who had needed her most

In a way that Lullaby reminds me of Garroth And myself.

I looked at Travis and he smiled.
"Come here!" I yelled and pulled him to me and embraced him with a hug.
He laid on the side of me and held me tightly so I wouldn't fall off the sofa.
"I love you Zane." He said.
"I love you too." I replied.
Then he kissed my forehead and I fell asleep.
