Kevin looked over at Edd and smirked as he chatted with his friends in the commom room, excited about the gifts both given and recieved. The promise of hair started to slowly grow back underneath Edd's hat. It was both exciting and disheartening. Kevin wished it was because he didn't need chemo anymore, not because he didn't want it.
They haven't really faced the problem head on since they left the hospital. They both avoided the conversation that was eating at them inside.
"Edd, if you're tired just say so. You don't have to put on a strong face for us." Eddy said, his filled with concern.
"Eddy, I am fine! I won't tell you again. Lets just enjoy this beautiful Christmas Eve!"
"You can just come with us tomorrow. The 'rents won't mind."
"Eddy, I'll be fine. I promise.
"Fine. Be stubborn." Eddy crossed his arm and pouted. Edd covered his mouth in an attempt to stiffle his giggle but failed.
"I really love you two." Double D whispered. "I'm going to miss both of you, so much."
Eddy and Ed stood still, shock filled their faves as the words left Double D's mouth.
"We will be back in No time Double D! We will come back and everything will be normal!" Ed said, revealing a smile that didn't reach his eyes.
"Eddward, stop."
"Eddy, calm down! I only meant for tomorrow! Tsk tsk. Always searching for drama!"
Eddy rolled his eyes and ran his hands through his hair. "Damnit, Edd. If you didn't give me such a nice watch, I would have had to slap you silly!" Edd smiled as he looked down at the watch he designed himself. It was a wrist watch, but it had a cover to it. And when he popped it open, there was a picture of the three Ed's together, and the face of it was see through so you can see every gear that made the watch tick. Ed had the same, but instead it was shaped as a piece of toast with a slab of butter on it.
"I love this watch as much as buttered toast, Double D. But it is Buttered toast. So I love it more!" He smiled and they all laughed, memories of Ed's obsession from their childhood washing over them.
"And both of your presents are something I will cherish forever."
Edd smiled and lovingly looked at the picture collage that Eddy made him of all three Ed's throughout their lives. And Ed painted Double D on a huge canvas, on it an Angel with its back to the viewer, surrounded by an array of animals.
"Because of your dream of becoming a Zoologist, I was inspired."
Double D looked up at Ed with tears in his eyes.
"I love it so much. Both of my gifts. You two are really the best of friends a guy could ask for." Hey got up and all three of them shared an embrace.
"Alright. You two must be going! Drive safe. I'll call you tomorrow on Christmas." Edd smiled as they all said their farewells, and only Kevin and Edd were left behind. "You should be going too, Kevin."
Kevin chuckled as he wrapped an arm around Edd's waist, the other behind his own back. "Oh? I can wait until morning." He smiled and looked up at the mistletoe in his hand above their heads. Edd smiled shyly and reached up to brush his fingers on Kevin's cheeks. He pamted nervously as he leaned forward on his tippy toes and gently brushed his lips on Kevins. Their lips parted for a second, and were met once more, only this kiss held a secret, hungry desire.
"Let me give you another Christmas present." Kevin whispered, as his hands slid down to Edd's butt and lifted him up. Edd complied with wrapping his legs around Kevin's waist, meeting Kevins lips once again with his own while Kevin clumsily walked to the elevator while holding Edd.
The elevator opened and Kevin fumbled for the button to their floor and once succeeding, he gently pressed Edd to the back wall, hungrily kissing his lips as Edd ran his fingers through Kevin's hair. The elevator notified their arrival to their floor and Kevin moaned in frustration as he let Edd go and grabbed his hands, rushing to his room.
"Uh, Nat moved out. And. Um. Well, I guess you can call it wishful thinking.." and He swung the door open, and Inside Kevin pulled out the Trindle so it was a Queen, blue Orchid petals sprinkled the room, with battery operated candles dimly lighting the atmosphere.
"K-kevin.. But.. How.."
Kevin bashfully scratched the back of his neck and looked up. "Well, the petals are fake, but I knew they're your favorite flowers. And I wanted it to be romantic, but I didn't want to get in trouble for breaking the Fire code. So."
Edd nodded, looking at Kevin with tears in his eyes. "You didn't have to do all this. " he squeeked.
"I wanted to, Edd. It will be your first time. And I know how much you love Christmas. So I thought it would be special for you. But just say the word, Edd. And we don't ha-" Kevin was cut off with a sweet kiss from Edd.
"I want to, Kevin."
Kevin's eyes grew and a blush covered his face. It wasn't his first time, but he felt as if it were. He walked up to Edd, and clumsily fumbled at the hem of his shirt. Edd looked into Kevins eyes and raised his arms as the shirt eased off him. Kevin breaths were short and quick, anticipating every touch from Edd. Edd slipped Kevin's shirt off and took another step so their bodies were touching. As their skin connected, they both felt a wave of electricity travel up their abdomens.
Kevin picked up Edd, and gently laid him down on the bed. He reached over and unbuttoned Edd's pamce, followed by him sliding them off, and Did the same for himself. He suddenly looked confused, silently cursing himself as he rummaged through his Dresser drawers.
Edd cocked an Eyebrow and leaned on his elbows. "Is there a problem?"
"Aha! No, I found it." He smiled as he found the new lube he bought for the occasion. He made his way back to the bed, smiling as he looked down at his lover. "Wow, Edd. You really are beautiful. Oh, and it looks like you're getting hair in other places as well!" Kevin chuckled as Edd blushed and tried to cover himself.
"Is it bad? Should I go and-"
"Sh. Edd, I'm just teasing! It's fine."
Kevin laughed and crawled onto the bed, hooking an arm behind Edd's back and sliding him under the covers. "So. Um. Did you.. Uh want to.. be Uh.. Bottom? Top? Or.."
Edd blushed and looked away. "I always imagined you being on top..So."
Kevin smirked. "Oh so you dreamt of thos before, eh?"
"Kevin! You're rambling! Are you ok with this?" Edd looked up at Kevin, concern in his eyes.
"I'm just so damn nervous, Edd. I don't want to hurt you."
Edd smiled and winked "Well, I'm not that fragile."
Kevin chuckled and placed both arms on either side of edd, easing himself on top of him, so he wouldn't squish his lover. He leaned all of his weight on one arm and held Edd's fave with the other, tenderly kissing his lips.
Edd moaned as Kevin gently nipped his lip, and moved down Edd's neck leaving little love bites. Edd gripped Kevin's broad back, digging his nails into his skin. Kevin glanced up, asking Edd a silent question that was answered with a slight nod. He got the bottle of lube and squeezed some into his hand, rubbing them on his fingers.
Kevin gently rubbed his finger around Edd's entrance, and eased it in slowly, watching Edd's face the whole time for signs of any pain. All he saw was Edd's flushed face, panting, wanting more. Kevin scraped his top lip with his teeth as he gently entered a his middle finger, scissoring to stretch Edd out. Kevin smirked and looked at an inpatient Edd. "Wanna know what's in it for you?" Edd gave Kevin a puzzled look that soon turned into a shocked face filled with ecstasy, tossing his head back with a moan as Kevin hit his sweet spot. Edd gripped the sheets and pulled himself up.
"Now." Edd said, voice husky and full of want. He leaned over and grabbed the bottle, pouring some onto his hand and gripped Kevin's member. Edd was panting, mouth slightly open so Kevin could see that beautiful gap between his teeth. He wrapper his hands around Kevin's twitching member, pumping agonizingly slow, making sure it was covered.
Once they were ready, Kevin folded his legs underneath him. Edd crawled on top of Kevin, gripping his shoulders and put his knees on either side of Kevin's thighs. Edd leaned down and kissed Kevin's lips as Kevin moved his own hands on Edd's hips to steady him.
Edd was panting harder, both out of being nervous and excited as he positioned his lovers member in front of his entrance with one hand, the other gripping Kevins neck.
Edd hissed in breath as Kevin eased himself in slowly, and waiting halfway for Edd to adjust before he gave him the rest.
"Jesus, Edd." Kevin gasped as he leaned his head on Edd's shoulder.
Edd just smiled. Kevin felt his flushed cheek against his own. The ravenette groaned as he eased his hips down slowly so he could take the rest of Kevin in. He wanted this, they needed this. Kevin gently gripped Edd's hips and held his own still as Edd adjusted to the stretch.

Edd raised his head and looked Kevin in the eyes.

"Follow my lead."

Kevin nodded as Edd wrapped his slim arms around Kevin's strong neck, drawing him into a heated kiss as Edd slowly started to move his hips.

It was impeccable

A few pounding heartbeats later they were moving as one. Hands in each other's hair, heated kisses on full lips, love bites on necks and collarbones. Kevin would wear the scratches Edd was leaving on his back as a badge of honor for the rest of his life.
Edd shifted his hips as he picked up speed and arched his back on a long, loud moan as he took Kevin in deeper. The redhead did his best to keep his movements steady, but the way Edd was leading him on was making it difficult.
"Edd.. I.. Can't.."
Kevin stilled, gripping Edd close as he filled him with his seed, yelling out Edd's name. Edd spilling his own over their abdomens.
The only sounds after were their heated breaths and sweet mumbles as they stayed in that position,Kevin gently rubbing Edd's back.
What seemed like forever, Edd finally got up and headed to the bathroom, Kevin following him for a shower. Edd leaned against the shower wall as Kevin cleaned him off, and doing the same to himself.
"Kevin, what's wrong?"
Kevin shyly looked at Edd. "Nothing." But his forrowed brow stayed on his face.
Edd became worried as they dried off and Kevin Slipped a sweatshirt over Edds head. Kevin threw on some sweat pants and crawled into bed, patting the spot in front of him. Edd happily obliged, burying his face into Kevin's chest.
Kevin held Edd, and lifted his chin up so they were looking into eachothers eyes. "Edd. I love you." He paused as he took in Edd's panic expression." No, no. It's not because I'm caught up in the moment, Edd. I know better. This is genuine, whole. Every time I carried you, every time we kissed I fell hard. Your little habits and the way you would ramble on even the most simple of things. And the time I saw you lying on that hospital bed, sick. I felt helpless. I honestly felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest. I never felt a pain like that before. And that's when I knew, I fell in love. And it's not because I feel sorry. Don't ever think that. Edd. Why are you crying?"
Sobs shook Edd's body as Kevin pulled him closer. "You don't have to say anything. I understand. The way I feel will never change."
Edd looked up at Kevin with his tear stained face and enveloped his lips with his own. Kevin grabbed Edd's cheek with one hand and deepened the kiss. "Sh. It's ok, Edd. I know." He whispered.
Shortly after, Edd's sobs fell silent and turned into quiet, even breaths as he fell asleep as Kevin softly sung him a lullaby, before he, too drifted Into dreamland.
