Harry's POV

I felt my heart sink in my chest as I looked into the red eyes of the helpless girl in front of me. It all made sense to me now. As I turned my head to the bartender a few feet away from me I felt the anger well up in me.

As if guessing my next actions, Liam grabbed my arm, forcing me to look at him. "Don't."

"I'm going fucking kill him, he drugged her."

"Harry." He said with force this time. "If she was just drinking water it was most likely a date rape drug. You need to get her out of here, now. She'll end up passing out for an hour or two and when she wakes up she's going to be really sick. She's going to need you. We'll handle him, you just get her out of here."

I felt my fist tightening as I struggled to look down at Alyssa who was now swaying in her seat. I took a breath before nodding.

"I'll go get the rest of the guys, you get out of here." He said walking into the rest of the crowd.

I leaned down to be eye level with Alyssa, lifting her chin to look at me. "Alyssa, baby."

Her red eyes looked into mine, slightly confused. "Harry?"

"We have to get out of here, okay?" I said, trying to stay as calm and soothing as I could.

She nodded and attempted to stand up, her body swaying and holding onto me.

I led her out to the car, helping her onto the front seat before climbing into the driver side. As I drove back to my apartment I kept my eye on her until I watched her head droop down and her eyes slowly shut.

Alyssa's POV

My eyes felt like they were sealed shut and i was unable to open them. I heard footsteps rapidly moving back and forth. And then I heard that familiar voice that meant so much to me.

"Liam she's been out for almost three hours, I can't fucking handle this!" He said in a panic.

There was a moment of silence before he spoke again. "How the hell am I supposed to calm down when she's laying unconscious on my couch?"

I realized as hard as it may be, I had to open my eyes. I had to let him know I was okay. With all the strength I had, I pried my eyes open looking at the white ceiling above me. Turning my limp neck, I realized where I was. I knew Harry's apartment like the back of my hand, but I couldn't understand how or when I had gotten here.

I forced myself to sit up, my arms feeling weak beneath me. Turning my head to where I heard Harry's voice I saw him standing, a phone tightly gripped in his hand. His jaw slightly dropped as he saw the sight of me and put the phone to his ear.

"Liam, I'll call you back."

He walked over, kneeling on the ground beside me. "You scared the hell out of me."

I tried to reply, but I felt the room spinning and in a hurry I jumped up, running to the bathroom and emptying the contents of my stomach into the toilet.

I felt a hand pull my hair from my face while the other one rubbed my back soothingly. "Shh, it's going to be okay."

I felt so embarrassed, throwing up in front of him. I pushed myself away from the toilet, flushing it and sitting on the floor until I caught my breathe again.

"I'm sorry." I said shaking my head and standing up. I grabbed the toothbrush I had left at his house and brushed the acid taste from my mouth.

"Don't apologize, it's not your fault." He said, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
