Two days. Two more long, horrific, painful days until Harry got back. I was counting down the hours until he would come home and relieve me from this nightmare I'd been living in for the past week.

It was just as terrible as I expected it to be. I felt completely and utterly alone while with Louis and Zayn. Although they tried to include me in everything and make me feel at home, it wasn't right. I knew I didn't belong there without Harry next to me. During the day I went to school, seeing the day drag on slower then imaginable. And when I got back to Zayn and Louis', I retreated to my "room" where I sat waiting for hours for a call that didn't come.

But the worst was at night. Without Harry's strong arm slung over me and holding me close to him, making me feel safe, I had nightmares. Nightmares that someone was trying to kill me. Or nightmares where Harry was hurt and I couldn't help him (those were the worst). Because of this I rarely slept, not wanting to see the gruesome things my subconscious made up.

I was basically a walking zombie, and I knew it. I barely talked, barely ate, I never slept. And it was all because of one person. One curly haired, green eyed boy that changed my life forever.

I was laying on the bed, reading a book when I heard Louis' voice echoing down the hall.

"She's not doing so good-" he was cut off from someone on the other line of a phone when he abruptly spoke again. "Will you let me finish! Zayn and I have tried everything she's just...lost without you. And I know you're hurting without her too. This separation is breaking both of you. Point is, I think you need to get back as soon as possible."

There was a long pause and I was about to go back to my book when I heard him speak again. "Yeah, let me go get her."

A second later there was a light rap on my door before Louis stepped in. He smiled before holding the cell phone out. "It's Harry."

I kept a blank face, trying not to get my hopes up, before grabbing the phone out of his hand. When I held the phone up to my ear, I stayed silent unsure what to say.

"Baby?" Harry's concerned voice came through the line.

"Hi." I muttered.

"How are you princess?"

I hesitated before answering. "You haven't called. You said you would."

I hadn't heard from Harry for almost four days. Every night I sat up waiting for the moment when my phone buzzed with the incoming call of the only person I truly wanted to hear from. But, when it never came I was even more hurt then before.

"I know baby, I'm so sorry."

There was silence and the only sound I could hear was Harry's heavy breathing through the other line.

"So, are Louis and Zayn treating you well. Because ill kick their asses if they aren't." There was a smile in his voice but I could tell it faded quickly at my lack of response.

"What's going on in school?" He asked, tone attempting to sound friendly.

I shrugged, then realized he couldn't see me. "Work."

"Alyssa please talk to me."

"I'm sorry." We're the only words I could form.

"I hate hearing you like this. Where's my sweet and happy girl who always has a smile on her face?"

"You took her with you when you left."

I could almost picture the hurt in his eyes and I immediately regretted my words.

"I really hate that I'm putting you through this."

"So come back."

"I'm trying, I really am. Two more days, that's it."
