"Arthur, it's getting late, I think we should rest here for the night," said Gwaine tiredly.
"You know what Merlin?" Arthur said, " I think we should stop here for tonight, it's getting pretty late." Arthur then stopped and looked around to see if they were at a good place to rest for the night.
"Uh," Gwaine said offensively, "So you'll talk to a boy who can't even hear you, over a man who's standing right here, and can actually hear you?"
"Did you hear something Merlin?" Asked Arthur, "Right me neither."
"Oh, wow, that was just cruel," Said Gwaine, there was a moment of silence before he spoke again. "Arthur, why are you still so mad?"
There was no answer from Arthur.
Gwaine sighed and rolled his eyes. He then carefully set Merlin down, leaning him against a tree. Gwaine sat down next to Merlin.
"Oh Merlin, if only there was someone, other than you who could go to the nearest river to get us some water." Arthur said sarcastically. He waited for a few moments but Gwaine didn't get up. Arthur sighed then walked into the woods himself.
When Arthur left, Gwaine had a grin on his face and chucked a little. He looked over to his pale looking friend, he was dying, and it was only a matter of time before he bled out to death.
"We will help you Merlin, you will make it through this, I promise," Gwaine said sincerely. He then rested his head back against the tree, closed his eyes, and was about to drift off to sleep when he heard a voice.
"Gwaine?"
Gwaine sat up and stared at Merlin. "Merlin?"
A smile came across the young warlock's face.
"How are you feeling?" Asked Gwaine quickly.
"Honestly, I feel terrible," Merlin said as he moaned. "It-it hurts.... Really, really bad."
"I'm so sorry Merlin," said Gwaine, his eyes were starting to water. He couldn't even imagine what kind of pain his friend was in.
"Where's Arthur?" Asked Merlin tiredly while his eyes were closed.
"Arthur's out trying to find a river to collect some water," said Gwaine, "he will be back as soon as possible."
-----
It had been about 20 minutes since Arthur left their Mini camp, he was now about a mile away from his friends.
"Where is a river around here?" Arthur said out loud, not expecting anyone to answer.
"Your close," said a familiar voice that Arthur recognized.
Fearful, Arthur turned around to see a women walking towards him, it was Morgana.
"My dear brother," Morgana said with an evil smirk, "Now why is the King of Camelot out here, wandering all by his little lonesome self? Could it be that you are trying to get some water to take back to your injured friend?"
Arthur drew his sword once she said that,
"What did you do to him?" Asked Arthur angrily.
"Nothing, and I can't. Even when he's this weak, he could still defeat me." Said Morgana, pacing back and forth.
"What do you mean?" Asked Arthur sounding confused, "how can he defeat you? You have magic."
"Now now brother, that's a story for another day." Morgana replied, "I can't get close enough to kill Merlin, but you can." And at that moment Morgana's eyes flashed gold and Arthur flew back, hitting his head against a tree which caused him to pass out. Morgana slowly walked up to him and knelt down beside the lifeless looking king. "Not even a man as royal as you can resist the Fomorroh. Morgana then smiled and laughed, such hatred, sadness, and evil in that laugh of hers. Hatred for The King, Sadness for Mordred, and evil for just who she is on the inside.
