---------
As Arthur was walking away, another lightning bolt came from the sky, it wasn't the normal white you see strike through the sky, it was blue. And it struck close, too close.
"Merlin!" Arthur screamed as he saw the lightning bolt strike the clearing he was just in. He started running back towards it, as fast as he could. He was swatting leaves, and branches out of his way, his adrenaline suddenly spiked and he was running faster than he could have ever imagined. He stopped abruptly, his arms hanged down his sides and he walked slowly, his eyes went wide.
"M-Merlin?" Arthur said as he looked at the ground. There was a black area where the lightning struck, ash was there, and smoke was rising up. But Merlin wasn't there.
"Merlin!" Arthur screamed.
------
"Huuh!" Merlin gasped as he sat up quickly. Sweat was running down his forehead. The room was dark, and he was in a bed. But it didn't feel like his bed... It felt, Royal. Could it be Arthur's? Merlin's thought were interrupted by a groan he heard next to him.
"Merlin?" The sweet, familiar voice said.
"Gui-Guinevere?" Merlin said quickly.
"Yes, are you feeling alright?" She asked as she put her hand on Merlin's shoulder.
Merlin's eyes went wide and he stumbled out of the bed. Once his eyes adjusted to the darkness he realized where he was. In Arthur's bed... With his wife.
"Merlin... Are you okay?" Guinevere asked slowly with concern.
"How did this- how am I, I shouldn't be here, this is wrong." Merlin said as he looked around the room more.
"Wh-where's Arthur?" Merlin asked nervously.
"Arthur? Well he's with Gaius of course." Guinevere replied.
"Why would he be there, and why am I in here, with you, in his bed?" Merlin asked scared.
"Well, we are married, Merlin, and this is our room... are you sure your feeling okay?" Guinevere said, now pulling the covers off her, and making her way out of the bed and over to Merlin.
"N-no, you and Arthur are married." Merlin said as he started backing up. One hand was straight out in front of him, trying to stop Guinevere from coming near him. One hand was behind his back, and once he felt the wall he leaned up against it, terrified as Guinevere came closer.
"Arthur and I?" Guinevere said with a giggle, "Merlin, I told you, I kissed him once, but that was because I thought he was going to die, and that was years ago when he first arrived."
"N-no," Merlin replied, now Guinevere was just inches from his face. He gulped then continued, "th-that was me, you kissed me once, when I was dying."
"We have kissed several times Merlin," Guinevere said. She lifted her hand and and held his cheek, she stroked it with her thumb. She leaned in for a kiss and Merlin tried to back up, but the wall was there.
"Eeeee-ahhhh," Merlin shrieked as he slid down into a crouch, then quickly got up away from Guinevere's grasp. He ran out the chamber doors and started sprinting down the hall to find Gaius' chambers.
"Sire, is everything alright?" A knight said stepping in front of Merlin.
"Sire? I'm just Merlin!" He screamed.
Then he pushed the knight aside and continued on running till he reached Gaius' chambers.
Merlin burst through the door, startling the old man as he woke up.
Gaius reached for his glasses and then quickly put them on.
"Sire! What are you doing here this late at night? Is everything alright?" Gaius asked worriedly.
"Why does everyone keep calling me sire?" Merlin asked while panting.
"Maybe because you are the king." Said Arthur as he came out of Merlin's room.
"Why are you sleeping in my room?" Asked Merlin rudely.
"Um, that's my room." Arthur said as he made his way next to Gaius. "Merlin, are you sure everything's alright?"
"No!" Merlin yelled, startling Gaius and Arthur. "I wake up in your chambers," he says while pointing to Arthur, Arthur looks back at him in confusion. "I also woke up beside your wife, and for some reason everyone thinks I'm the king!"
"Because you are the king."
"No!" Merlin screamed at Arthur, "You are!"
"Okay, sire, I think you should take a seat, you aren't in your right mind." Gaius said as he took Merlin and sat him down.
Merlin looked at the nearest object and focused on it. Nothing.
"No no no no NO!" Merlin screamed.
"What now!" Arthur yelled back.
"M-my magic, I don't have it anymore." Merlin said with wide eyes.
Merlin wasn't the only one with wide eyes.
"S-sire," Arthur said, "I don't believe you ever had magic."
"Yes I did," Merlin said as he stood up to face Arthur, "don't tell me that you have my magic."
Arthur froze for a moment. "Pft, me? A servant like me? Has magic? Merlin you would know if I had magic."
"oh no," Merlin said as he brushed his hand through his hair. "You do have magic, everything is reversed here."
"Sire, I can assure you, he doesn't have mag-"
"Gaius, I know everything," Merlin replied. "I know he's emrys, also the dragon lord, i also know Kilgharrah, that you and me are two side of the same coin, you will help me reunite Albion. Mordred is supposed to be my doom and I his." Merlin took the chance to look up at his friends. They just stared at him with wide eyes.
"H-how?" Arthur asked.
"Because I'm from a different world. In my world, your my king, and I'm your servant with the great destiny. But now I'm stuck here in this place, powerless."
