A/N:
I promise I will put more action in this story soon, I just have to get past all the information in the story first
----------
"Arthur?"
"Yes, Sire?"
"No," Merlin abruptly says, causing Arthur to wince. "I am not from here and I am certainly not of royal blood. I am a servant and nothing more."
"Sorry, I'm kind of used to, you know, my Merlin, King Merlin..."
Merlin nodded in understanding.
"But, don't ever say you are just a servant and nothing more. Like you and I, we are both the most powerful warlock's to ever walk the earth."
Merlin giggled as Arthur beamed at him.
"And if it wasn't for us, those royal prats that we work for would be dead by now." Arthur states.
"Very true, they wouldn't last a day without us."
Arthur's head went back as he chuckled.
"Indeed Merlin."
There was a long silence before Arthur spoke again. "What do you think happened to my Merlin?"
"Maybe he's in my world, trying to kiss my Arthur." Merlin said which lead to both boys clutching onto their stomachs as they laughed.
"I wish I could see it for myself! He'd totally be disgusted."
Merlin noticed the sudden change in Arthurs features as his smile turned into a sad frown.
"I didn't mean it like that, it's just, my Arthur doesn't you know..."
"Like men?"
"Yeah, exactly."
"You know, my Merlin was like that at first, until I had the guts to kiss him."
"How did that go?"
"He pushed me away and ordered me to get out of his chambers. Later that night I was in my room when he burst through my room and smashed his lips into mine."
Merlin's eyebrows rose.
"Yeah... That was the start of our relationship."
"You could've been throne in the dungeons."
"Maybe, but do you really think our Kings would do that to us?"
Merlin thought for a moment before answering, "no."
---------
"What do you mean by, 'Not our Merlin?'" Arthur asked rudely.
"Obviously this young man thinks he's the King, he's definitely telling the truth, which means that he's come from another universe."
"Universe?!" Arthur and Merlin yelled at the same time.
"Universe, world, whatever you may call it, but this Merlin is not from here." Gaius responded.
"Probably explains why I woke up drenched in the middle of the forest..." Merlin replied, "I was so sure that I had fallen asleep in my chambers."
"Wait, so where's our Merlin?" Arthur asked worriedly.
"Probably where he should be." Gaius said, motioning to King Merlin.
"Wait, so you mean to say, that my Merlin is stuck in a world where the other me is in love with him?"
"Indeed." Merlin said with a creepy smile, which sent shivers down Arthur's back.
"We have to save him Gaius!"
"Now boy, I want our Merlin back just as much as you do, but it's not that simple, we need to research this. Never have I ever heard of such an occurrence."
"Is it possible magic is behind this?" Merlin asked.
"Yeah, is it possible Gaius?" Arthur said.
The old physician rolled his eyes at the two royals, "Yes, it is highly possible. No mortal would have the ability to do that, but still, it would take a great deal amount of power for that kind of thing to happen. Not even the most powerful sorcerer in the world could. The only thing I know of is, a God."
"A god!" Both boys said in Unison. They both flashed each other disgusted looks before turning back to face Gaius, jaws dropped.
"Why would a god want to make Merlin switch places with himself from another world?" Arthur asked.
"Maybe to teach the lad a lesson."
"Why would Merlin, of all people, be taught a lesson from the gods? He's not even that important!"
"Hey!" Merlin screeched.
"Not you, you idiot." Arthur said.
"Hey! I can put you in the stocks for that!" Merlin yelled with authority.
Arthur just smirked and shook his head.
"If you haven't forgotten already, in this world, I am the King of Camelot, and you boy, are a servant. Therefore, I am the only one allowed to demand who goes to the stocks."
Merlin growled at Arthur, while the King kept his head up high showing his dominance in power.
---------
"Sire!" Yelled a familiar voice in the woods. Merlin turned around to see a group of knights coming towards them. He heard Arthur stand up behind him so he copied his movements.
When the Knights emerged from the forest around them he met face to face with...
"Sir Leon!" Merlin exclaimed excitedly.
"Sire, we were looking everywhere for you. We were worried, especially Guinevere, she said you ran out of her chambers last night."
"Yes, well, I needed some air." Merlin replied while looking down.
"Glad to know that you are alright sire."
Merlin froze for a moment. That voice was so familiar but no, it couldn't be him, he's dead...
Merlin slowly picked his head up and met eyes with the man he never thought he would see again. His breathing became heavier and he could feel the sting in his eyes as tears began to form.
"Merlin... Are you-"
"Lancelot!" Merlin yelled as he made his way quickly over to the very much alive knight. He hesitantly raised his arm up and put a hand on his upper arm. He gave it a light squeeze to test out the man before him himself, to make sure what he was seeing was real. A smile formed on his lips when he realized it was him. Merlin looked back up and into the eyes of a confused Lancelot. Everyone around was silent and beyond confused.
Merlin couldn't hold his excitement in much longer. He quickly threw his arms around the knight, and embraced him with such might that he thought he heard a few bones crack.
"It's you," Merlin whispered as he buried his face into the crook of Lance's neck. "It really is you." The tears that Merlin had held back finally released, running down all over his face and onto the bewildered Knights back. It wasn't long after that he felt his old friends hands wrap around his back, returning the hug.
