(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

"You almost spilled the secret!" I tell Chad when we're back at my house. "Hidden Death hasn't even made an appearance, and you're already telling people who she is."

"(Y/n), I didn't mean it like that, besides, I didn't say anything, right?" He retords as he closes the front door behind him. "Come on, Batman, don't get mad at me now."

"I'm not really mad," I reply, turning towards him. "I don't know what I am. This entire thing just seems like a stupid idea already."

"Not doing it would be a stupid idea." Chad says now as I let myself fall down on the couch. "Do I need to remind you how many people are being robbed or harassed on a daily basis?"

"No, that's not-"

"At least five every three hours." He says, before I can even finish my sentence. I sigh, before getting up from the couch and randomly walking to the kitchen. I have no idea what I was going to do there, but I just randomly take a look in the fridge.

Of course, Chad follows me. "Come on, Batman." He says with a smile. "Why don't you put on the suit tomorrow, and roam the town. See if you can find some crime to fight."

"Mhm." I reply quickly, before grabbing some cheese out of the fridge and putting it in my mouth.

The suit is on, and some baggy clothes are over it. The mask is in my bag together with some random knives I found in the kitchen. I don't have any attacking powers, so I need some weapons for when I get attacked.

There was no way either Chad or I were going to get any guns, so my kitchen knives have to do...

Chad gives me a pat on my back and smiles. "There you go, fighting crime." He says, almost proudly. "Just give me a call when you need to get picked up or something."

"If one of the knives doesn't make a hole in my phone, I'll do that." I reply, a smile on my face as I leave the small house. The door closes behind me, and I realise I forgot my keys. Whilst shaking my head, I decide to just start walking anyway, I could always call Chad to let me in.

It doesn't take long before I notice a woman, completely dressed in black, her eyes searching the streets. I decide to keep an eye on her and pretend to send someone a message on my phone across the street from her.

Two boys walk passed her, and one of them says the other goodbye before they go in different ways. Immediately the woman has started walking after the boy and follows him on a small distance. She's obviously up to no good.

I run across the street and dash into a small alley, where I take of the clothes, leaving me in my suit. I put on my mask and make sure it's secure, before returning to the streets.

The woman is nowhere to be found, and I have lost sight of the boy as well. I panic slightly, it's getting dark and I'm here in a weird suit roaming the streets franticly looking around.

I must look like an idiot. For now, that doesn't matter though, because somewhere a woman is comiting a crime and I have a boy to save.

I run in the directions the two walked, and soon hear a muffled scream from a small sand path to my left. I run onto it, soon seeing the two I was looking for. The woman has her hand over the boy's mouth, her hand into his pocket, probably searching for cash.

I walk a little closer, before realising that I don't have a plan at all. I stop with walking and take another look at the woman, now noticing that her hand isn't in his pocket, but trying to get his belt off.

If someone ever tells me that women can't be rapists ever again, I'm going to scream.

Immediately I run forward, dropping my bag, and let my fist connect with her cheek. Out of surprise she looses her balance and ends on the ground. She looks up at me, before starting to laugh loudly.

"You must be drunk," She states while she gets up. "Go home and leave us be, idiot." She snarls, before pushing me back a little. I smirk, and because of that her face shows slight discomfort.

I turn invisible, and immediately panic is clear on her face. "What... What the hell." She shrieks, and once again I punch her in the face, this time against her nose.

I underestimated myself a little bit too much though, as my hand already starts to show and I feel some blood run down my nose. I quickly turn back to my normal self, only to see the boy standing next to me with an opened mouth.

I give him a smile, before running back to my bag and opening it quickly. I get a small knife out of there, but as it's in my hand I start to feel nervous. I couldn't stab someone...

Hitting them is one thing, but stabbing someone can cause death... Was I ready to kill someone?

The woman runs forward, before kicking her foot up. She hits me in the stomach, hard, and for a moment it feels like I'm going to puke. I double over, and she uses this to grab my head and bury her knee in my face.

I just feel my nose break, but I also feel the adrenaline kick in. I float up in the air when she lets go off my hair, and put my legs around her chest. I make a flip in the air, and she lands on her back a little distance away.

She scrambles up quickly as I get back to the ground, I only have to take one step forward to make her run away. Immediately, I drop the knife I didn't dare to use and let myself fall to the ground in pain.

"Woah, that was amazing." The boy says as he walks closer to me, holding out his hand to help me up. "Thank you, I thought I was doomed, but you totally saved me there."

"No problem," I reply. I accept his hand and he pulls me back to my feet. "It was an honour to help."

"Who are you?" He asks now, one of his hands reaching for my mask. I grab his wrist, stopping his action. He gives me a surprised look.

"The name is Hidden Death." I reply, a small smirk back on my face. I feel a drop of blood fall off my chin, and wipe it away quickly. "I'm going to head home though, gotta wash my face." I tell him with a smile.

He let's out a small laugh, but immediately it fades. "Could you..." He hesitates for a moment. "Could you walk me home, please?"

My eyes widen a bit at his question and I'm about to decline, but then I notice the absolute fear in his eyes, and his shaking hands. "Yes, I'll bring you home safely."

I'm back home myself an hour later, and I ring the doorbell. My nose had stopped bleeding, but my stomach hurt like hell. Chad opens the door, half a sandwich still in his mouth and a headset on his head.

When he sees me, the bread drops out of his mouth. "Oh my God, (Y/n). What the hell happened!?"

"I'm first going to shower, then I'll explain."
