(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
Chad and I had been up all night to find hiding spaces for everything in the house. A lot of our stuff could be moved to the barn, like the blueprints and Chad's working equipment. Some of my knives could also be put there, although the select few that I needed could be hidden on the upper shelf in the kitchen.
On first glance the throwing knives definitely didn't look the part, so they should be save there. The suit was a tricky one though. Chad came with the idea to put it into a room and just lock that and let me carry the key, but knowing my brother he would only get more curious about this locked room.
Besides, our house didn't hold enough rooms to have a spare one left.
"You could just wear it forever." Chad says as he takes another swig from his seventh coffee of the night. I am curled up on the couch next to him, trying to keep myself awake by imagining every single way that Aaron could find out, but anxiety wasn't showing up tonight.
"The thing covers my entire body, I would forever have to wear closed up hoodies and ultra long pants." I say as I lift my head to look at the guy next to me. "I would die in summer."
"Hey, you chose the superhero life, Batman. Nobody said it would be easy." He jokes with a shrug. I don't know if it is because I'm abnormally tired or the fact that he almost fell asleep when he said this, but something causes me to laugh harder than I ever have. Chad starts with small chuckles before joining me full force.
We don't even hear Aaron until he opens the door to the living room while he rubs his eyes. He stares at us on the couch and then at his watch. Chad and I calm down a bit when we see the boy in the doorway and Chad invites him into the room with a small hand gesture. "Want something to drink?" He asks, already standing up and taking a few steps towards the kitchen.
"Some milk would be nice," Aaron answers, before looking at me and joining me on the couch. "It's five in the morning, why are you guys still up?"
"We talked for a while and completely forgot the time." I answer. "Did we wake you up with our laughing?" He only nods as a responce before a jawn escapes him.
"Tell you what, kid," Chad says as he returns with a glass of water and a glass of milk. "Tomorrow, technically today, your big sister and I need to work but the day after that we'll take you to the city, as an apology for waking you up."
"Awesome!" The sixteen-year-old exclaims. "Where do you guys work?" Chad now places the glass of water in front of me and I immediately undestand what he means.
He passed it to me... The glass and the question.
"A small fabric store in town. Technically I don't really work there but sometimes I help Chad out." I end my answer with a small shrug to hopefully make it seem like it's not a big deal at all. Afterwards I take a large sip of the water.
"So, how long have you guys been together?" The question shocks me a little too much as all the water shoots into the wrong throat hole and I start coughing like a maniac. Chad's hands are immediately hitting the my back as I hear him chuckle.
"Answer enough, kid?" He asks Aaron, and I see my baby brother nodding his head.

Chad and I get to bed right after that. Well, Chad gets to the couch. We wake up a few hours later and Chad and I load up the van with stuff that we'll need to transport to the barn. I decide to put on the suit so Aaron can't find it, finish my outfit off with a dashing scarf and then we head off.
The music is on loudly in the car in an attempt to fully wake us up but when we reach the barn I sigh. "Chad, be a dear and give me my mask please. Cry's motorcycle is parked in front of the barn." Chad nods before handing me my mask and grabbing the scarf from my neck. "What are you..."
He puts it around his head so only his eyes show and he gives me a wink. "You het a secret identity but I want one as well!" I chuckle before getting out of the van.
"So, secret guy, if you start moving some stuff I will get Cry. I bet he could help us out." Chad groans but puts his thumb in the air as I enter the barn. "Cry~" I call in a sing-song voice, but the guy is nowhere to be found. A small sounds reaches my ears and I realise that we're either playing a game of superhero hide and seek, or Cry didn't put on his outfit and is now here in his normal clothes.
Which ever it is, it is definitely reason for me to find the guy as fast as possible.
"You fucked up now, guy. I heard that." I taunt as I float up and look around the hay on the second floor of the barn. I catch a glimp of something white, which must be his mask and I sadh forward. My hand reaches a fabric but before I can fully grab it a big splash of water reaches my face and catches me off guard. "Woah, unfair dude!" I call out.
"You're using your floating powers, so I can use mine!" He calls back, immediately betraying his hiding spot. I dash forward once again, this time prepared for elements to come my way. A small rock hits the back of my neck and I see Cry, standing in the middle of the barn, laughing loudly as I look at him in surprise.
"I didn't know you could bend earth..." I say, utterly surprised. If he could use the element that he was the weakest with in such a way, then that must mean that he trained a lot. My reaction only makes him laugh louder so I drop myself next to him and wait for him to stop.
"I just," He needs a moment to catch his breath. "I just threw it, you idiot." He immediately stops laughing as he realises what he said and takes a step back, obviously thinking that I'd be mad at his statement. I just chuckle before hitting his arm lightly.
We walk outside and he spots Chad's van. He immediately stops walking as he sees the scarved man walking around carrying my assortment of knives. "Now that you're here, how about you give me a hand? I need a place to store our equipment and the barn seems to be the best place."
"Before we do that..." Cry says as I turn towards him. He is holding a carton box with a small bow on it. "I thought that I should give you something, you know, for allowing me to be here and for your help."
I take the box from him and open it hesitantly. Inside is one of the most gorgeous knives I have ever seen in my entire life. The handle a gorgeous marble green and the knife itself decorated in the most beautiful way. I hold it and throw it up to catch it again. Perfect weight for both throwing and melee attacks.
I look at Cry, back at the knife, and at Cry once more. I store the knife in the box again before dashing forward and hugging the man in front of me as tightly as I can. At first his shoulders tense but after mere seconds his posture relaxes and I feel his hands sneak around my waist to hug back lightly. "Thank you, it's gorgeous."
"No problem, Hidden." He replies softly, his breath tickling my ear slightly. "I'm glad that you like it."
