"Okay, your turn." I laugh. Ryan and I had spend the entire day together going from shop to shop. Now we were sitting in a small restaurant at the whole other side of town with a small bowl of peanuts on the table between us. I had grabbed a few and tried to throw them in Ryan's opened mouth. After not succeeding for five minutes I decided it was his turn.

He had been laughing at me the entire time for failing, so now he'd see how hard it was.

He grabs one and concentrates on my face, making me blush slightly. His brown eyes focusing on my mouth like this made me feel slightly uncomfortable. I opened my mouth up a bit more, allowing him more space to throw the peanut.

He releases it from his fingers and to my surprise I feel the salt taste of the peanut on my tongue. I widen my eyes before I start chewing while Ryan starts to laugh loudly. "You must have cheated," I sputter out. "This is impossible."

"I just have the best skills, (y/n)." He says. "Don't you realise that by now?"

"I didn't before, but now I surely do." I say in a soft chuckle. A silence falls over us and it is obvious that we both feel just a little uncomfortable. A few moments pass, I am sure it is only a few minutes but it feels like hours until Ryan suddenly stands up before we had even gotten our drinks.

"Come on, we both aren't people that can sit still for too long, I realise." He smiles at me and I get up as well and we run outside.

"Ryan, it's pretty dark out, maybe it is better if we go home." I say as we start walking lazily. "Knowing this city that seems like the most logical thing at least."

"Don't worry, even if something would happen Hidden Death and Cry are still around." He says and automatically I roll my eyes.

"As if that Cry would be able to save us..." I say a bit too fast.

Cry's P.O.V.

Wow, what did she mean by that? Without realising it, my shoulders tense and a defensive feeling creeps into my stomach. "What does that mean?" I ask, making sure to add a small chuckle at the end to not sound too flustered.

"Just saying that every time he's tried to help, he's only made it worse for Hidden." She says with a simple shrug.

"He's probably just trying to help." I reason.

"Well, maybe he should stop because he isn't helping at all." She answers almost immediately after my words. "Not saying that he is a bad guy, just a bad hero."

I decide not to reply anymore, that would only cause me to get mad at (y/n) and I wouldn't want that. I wouldn't want to get mad at her for her opinion. On one side I understood what she said, I hadn't been a help. That was why I was looking forward to training with Hidden Death at that barn in a few days. I'd make it up to her, you know, letting that guy get away.

We reached a bus station after a while, and we waited there. She had told me that Chad was at work so he couldn't pick us up, which meant that we'd have to go with the bus but that was okay. We reached her street in half an hour and I stepped out of the bus with her.

She walked towards her front door and I followed her, she opened it and then turned towards me and I noticed a slight blush on her cheeks. This made me smile slightly. "We should do this again sometime." I say to break the silence. "Today was really a lot of fun." She nods before stepping a step closer to me.

"It's pretty late and dark and I don't want you to walk home all alone so... Uhm..." Her head gets more red. "Want to spend the night here?"

"Yeah, I'd love to." I say a bit too fast for my own liking. She smiles before she holds out her hand for me to enter. I walk into her house and (y/n)'s eyes widen quickly.

"Wait here, I really need to clean my room quickly!" She almost shouts before she bolds upstairs. I walk into the living room with a chuckle and sit down on the couch. It is cleaner than I had expected from a house where Chad lived.

(Y/n) walks back down and joins me on the couch. We decide to watch a movie and slowly but surely she falls asleep with her head on my shoulder and her arm around my stomach. I just watch her for a while, her even breathing gets almost hypnotising after a while. I could probably sit like this forever, with (y/n) cuddled up to me and a movie playing lazily in the background.

Of course, something had to ruin this nice moment, and this time it is my bladder. I untangle myself from (y/n)'s arms quickly before racing to the bathroom. I could just crawl back with her on the couch, but that wouldn't feel the same, so I decide to carry her up to her room.

Luckily her house doesn't have a lot of rooms, so my first guess is right. I place her down on her bed and put the bed sheets over her. She immediately adjusts to the comfortable bed and sighs quickly. I just want to get out of the room when my foot hits something sharp under her bed. I hold in a scream that wanted to be heard before I woke up (y/n) and quickly investigate what's under her bed.

It's a knife, which confuses me. I grab it and for some reason it feels really light in the touch. It seemed to be a basic throing knife, that had been used a lot already, the tip was slightly bend.

I place it back down under her bed, hoping that she isn't some weird murderer trying to get me killed. No, she is too sweet to murder anyone. I chuckle at my stupid thoughts before walking back downstairs. A huge computer had already gotten my attention when I walked in here but now I had the time to look at it properly. I gamed a lot myself and seeing a beast of a computer like this must've meant that either Chad or (y/n) did the same.

I start it up, which makes a lot of noise, and luckily there is no password on it. I open Steam, a place to buy and play games, and see that (y/n) is logged in. This girl just keeps getting better and better.

"Pretty awesome, right?" Chad asks behind me. I let out a scream as I didn't hear him come in or anything and he starts laughing. "She has more games than I do, then again, who needs around 200 games." He says after being done with laughing at my high-pitched scream.

"Hello to you too." I say after calming down a little and Chad sits down on the couch.

"So, Ryan, what are you doing here?"

"(Y/n) invited me to stay over, so yeah." Now that I say it out loud I understand why she had gotten so red when asking me to stay over. I bet she was afraid that I would take her request the wrong way. Now, I am really glad that I only realised the second meaning of that sentence at this moment. "Not to do anything, well we watched a movie, but not to do anything..."

"Dirty." Chad finishes with a smirk. "Where are you going to sleep anyway, we only own two beds."

And not an hour later, I was trying to get comfortable on the couch again.
