(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
"Are you insane?" Chad asks me when we are back home. "You immediately told him where you train? Maybe this guy is a psycho with some weird superhero fetish or something."
"Ew, Chad." I reply, before making myself some tea. Chad follows me towards the kitchen, leaning against one of the cupboards.
"That could be the case. He could be a potential villain as well. and-"
I interupt him quickly, before having to hear an entire story. "If I didn't trust you almost immediately this all wouldn't have happened. I wouldn't have a suit, I would have nothing. I took a gamble in trusting you, and I will gamble on this guy."
"But we don't need another member on this team, do we? We're managing fine now." Chad tells me, a hint of hurt in his voice.
"Don't worry, we're doing great with just the two of us." I get a sigh of relief from Chad. "That is why, tomorrow, we will scare this kid so much that he immediately throws his suit in the trash and leaves us be."
Cry's P.O.V.
Yes, I did it! Cry's first appearance had sparked people's attention, especially the attention of Hidden Death. I had never expected her to react this way. This evening she invited me for the training session, and I was both excited and scared.
I was going to train with Hidden Death and I was going to show her what I could do. I was pretty sure that I would be a great help for her.
I secure my mask one more time, making sure that it won't fall off and reveal my face. Not that whoever Hidden Death is would know me. I don't really go outside much and I don't really make a lot of friends, especially lady friends.
Now that I think about it, the only girl I see as a friend is (Y/n). Not that we are really good friends or whatever, but she is a chill person. I like hanging out with her and Chad, they're definitely my kind of people.
I let a nervous breath escape me, before I start to get on my way. Felix had gone out on a date with that Italian girl he met a few days ago, so I didn't have to make up some lie to leave the house.
The drive took me around fifteen minutes, but then I reach the barn. A few lights are burning in there, and the flickering lights look like they might be candles.
I get out of my car and walk a bit closer towards the barn, Hidden is already sitting on a crate in front of the barn, a set of knives is displayed next to her. When she sees me she gets up from the crate and shakes my hand.
"Glad you could make it." She says, a smile forming on the part of her face that I am able to see. I smile back at her, only realising a bit late that she can not see my smile.
"Glad you invited me. I wasn't sure if you would be too happy to see me." I reply, the smile on her face dissapears immediately, worrying me a little.
"I wasn't happy to see you yesterday, and I'm not really happy to see you now to be honest." She says before turning around and grabbing two knives from the crate. "I was hoping you would decide to drop out of it all, but you're here so I will give you the promised double training."
She hands me a knife, but I refuse it. She lifts an eyebrow at my refusal and I turn to one of the targets and take some water from a small river that flows behind the barn. It forms a small ball above my hand.
Hidden Death is just looking at me quietly, she has not moved from her place since I refused the knife. I decide to go a bit further than to just send some water at the target so I let some wind strike against it, before making it as cold as possible. When the water starts turning into ice I let it fly towards the target. Multiple small shards of ice hit it, hitting all over the target.
I turn towards Hidden Death, who has now sat down on the crate. "I am quite impressed." She tells me. "So, you control elements?"
"Basically, yes." I tell her. "Water, wind and fire are the elements I can control perfectly, earth is still a point I should work on."
"Anything else I should know?" She asks, walking towards the target and starting to get my shards out. I walk towards the target as well, before making the ice melt and seeing it stream towards the ground, and into the dirt below it.
"Hightened hearing." I tell her. "I'm not sure if I was born with that or if it is something that got affected later on, but my ears are pretty good."
"I'll remember to never say something under my breath about you then." She jokes. I chuckle quickly before leaning against the target.
"So, anything special I should know about you?" I ask.
"Well, in my opinion you shouldn't have to know anything about me, but because you asked so nicely you'll get an answer." She jokes again. "I'm very flexible, can fly and float and I can turn invisible. Even though you probably already knew that."
"Yes, I knew that, but you never know what other powers there are." I tell her. "That's kind of the reason I wanted to help you. You have stealthy powers, but no attacking powers. With me, it is the other way around. Together we could be the perfect team."
Instead of answering she starts walking down the road, away from the barn. She pulls out a cellphone and seems to text someone. I follow her quickly and we end up next to my car.
"I can't promise you that you'll be able to practice your fire here, because that could attract a lot of attention. I will try to make targets fit for fire training for if we find a better place." She says. "The day after tomorrow, five PM, same place."
"Okay, I will see you then." I say quickly, trying to hide my enthousiasm. I obviously seem to be more helpful to Hidden than before as she is going to make targets for me.
"Yes, and don't be late." A car comes towards the barn at high speed, before stopping right in front of Hidden Death. She gives me a last wave before getting into the car, leaving me alone at the barn.
(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
"Thanks for picking me up that fast." I say to Chad, who just nods at me.
"And? Were you able to scare him away?" He asks me in return before slowing down a little when we reach the town again.
"No, I decided to invite him for the next training. He has some powers that might be very useful." Chad looks at me briefly, his eyes wide.
"Don't tell me you will start working together with him." He says in a sigh.
"Don't worry, that wouldn't be a good idea at all, but he seems to be a good guy." I tell him. "He controls the elements and has hightened hearing. About the element thing..."
"What do you need?"
"Targets that can withstand fire. He needs to be able to practice a little with it." I say, seeing that we enter our street. "I will give him a chance to train at our place and after that I will send him away. Every person deserves to be able to become a better version of theirself, and we have a place for him to train. Taking that away from him would be cruel."
Chad only nods again as we park in front of our house. "Look at you, starting to talk like a superhero! Let's get you out off that suit before you change completely." He starts laughing because of his own joke before opening the front door for us.
