8: Tired Of It

Short chapter

Nash's POV:

I banged my head on the door a couple of seconds after he ran out.

"Stupid..stupid..stupid.." I kept mumbling to myself.

When I walked back out, Cameron was no where to be seen.

Matt kept on giving me dirty glances all throughout the night. I wondered if it had anything to do with Cameron.

Ashley was all over me. It was really starting to piss me off.

At first, I thought she was innocent and cute.

She may still be cute, but she wasn't all that innocent anymore.

When we left the mall, Ashley was clinging onto my arm.

She kept on rambling and rambling about some stuff. I wasn't even paying attention, I just nodded my head every once in a while.

When we got back to our hotel, it was nearly 7:00 in at night.

I pried Ashley off of me, extremely annoyed by her presence.

"Nash!" Ashley whined.

I was tired of it. I began to think as to why I was even dating her in the first place.

Maybe she was the reason why Cameron ran off. As much as Cam hated her, he was always considerate of other people's feelings. If I got rid of Ashley, maybe Cam wouldn't feel guilty.

Cam kissed me back. That meant so much to me. It showed me that he didn't lose his feelings for me, even after what I had did.

"You know what, Ashley? I'm sick of it. I'm sick of you. Ever since you came into my life, everything changed. I almost lost my best friend because of you. I'm tired of your manipulating ass. We're fücking over." I fumed.

Why have Ashley, when I could have Cameron.

Ashley's eyes widened as she realized that I was completely serious.

She sputtered a bit.

"Nash, you don't really mean all that, do you?" she whispered, on the brink of tears. I felt no pity for her.

She deserved to hear everything I said.

"I mean all of it."

I didn't even bother to say bye to her. I slammed the door in her face.

I immediately felt lighter without her around.

I deleted everything related to Ashley from my social media accounts.

I went onto Cam's Instagram account to check up on him.

It has been 3 days since the kiss.

I clicked on his most recent photo.

It was of him, with a familiar looking girl. He was kissing her cheek in the photo, so I had assumed it was a fan

That was, until I read the caption.

"They say things happen for a reason."
