Chapter 18

Hailey's POV

Riele and Ella came by today to talk about Jace and what's going on with him. He's not being himself. He randomly starts crying and he has been running off set, a lot. As of now I've been keeping in touch with them to see how he is doing. My phone started going off and Riele's name came up.

"What's up?" I ask.

"Jace ran off again." She sighs.

"Has anyone been checking on him to see if he is okay?" I practically yell scrambling to my feet.

"We can't find him. We've checked his dressing room and he isn't in there." She says frantically

"What do you mean he isn't in his dressing room!" I run out the door towards his house.

My hearts was pounding so hard, I thought it was going burst out of my chest. "I'll let you know if he is at his house." What the hell am I thinking, the studio is two hours away, he couldn't possibly be there.

"The body guards.... T-They've check everywhere, there isn't any sign of him." Riele's was crying, she was crying hard.

I didn't have the time to knock on Jace's door I threw it open. Xander was watching tv as usual, but he look scared.

"Is Jace here?" I ask running over to him.

He shakes his head. "Why?"

"He ran off at the set and no one can find him." I say covering my face. Tears were at the brim of my eyes, just ready to pour out.

"What?!" He jumped up and fumbled over his shoes.

"We have to find him!" I shout letting tears stream down my cheeks. "Tell me we'll find him!"

Xander places his hands on my shoulders, looks me in the eyes and runs out the door. 

He knew something and wouldn't fess up. Now's not the time for that. I run outside and hop into his car before he leaves.

"What are you doing?" He chokes.

"We're going to find Jace and while we're at it you're going to tell me what you're keeping from me." I say slamming the buckle down. "Are you gonna start the car or what?!"

He scrambles the keys around and starts the car.

He takes a deep breath.

"Okay.. The truth is.."
