Jace's POV.
After riding penny boards, we went inside to get some water.
"Did you guys have fun?" My mom asks.
"Yeah." we say in unison.
"Great." she says and walks away.
I watched as Hailey got her water, she looks so pretty. I don't know when I'm gonna tell her about being an actor unless she already knows, but I highly doubt that she knows.
"Hey,can we talk?" I ask.
"Yeah sure. Where do you wanna talk?" She asks.
"In my room." I say.
"Okay." she says.
We walk upstairs, go into my room, and sit on my bed.
"So what do you want to tell me?" she asks.
"Well I don't know if you already know, but I'm an actor." I say.
"I didn't know, but that's so cool." she says.
"So you won't treat me differently since you know?" I ask.
"I won't treat you differently because that doesn't matter, just knowing you being yourself is all I could ever want." she says.
"I uh wanna take you somewhere." I say.
"Okay. Where?" She asks.
"Just follow me." I say and hold out my hand.
She grabs it and I take her outside to the biggest park around here in San Diego. I walk over to a bench and motion for her to sit with me.
"Why'd you want to come here?" She asks.
"Well I wanted to take my favorite person to my favorite place." I say.
I've only known her for about a week and I'm already starting to like her, like a lot. She doesn't care about my fame and she's amazing.
"So I'm you're favorite person?" She asks.
"Well. yeah." I say while blushing.
"Good to know." she says.
We sit and talk for a while until my mom calls me on the phone to come home.
"Hey, what time is it?" Hailey asks.
"6:30 pm." I say
"Oh shoot. I forgot that I told my mom I wouldn't be out late." She says.
"I can walk you home." I say.
"Okay." she says while blushing.
I hold out my hand hoping for her to grab it and she does. We start walking to her house, but we literally live a street down from each other.
We get to her front door and she says,
"Thanks for walking me home."
"Anytime." I say.
I lean in and kiss her on the cheek.
"See you at school tomorrow." I say.
"See ya." she says while blushing.
I walk home to do my homework and take a quick shower. I put on some shorts and a loose shirt then jump into bed. This day was one to remember.
