"(Y/n), are we going to your house then?" Your best friend Yumi asked. The two of you had been pared up for an assignment in class and so she wanted to work on it. "Oh, I have to go to practise today."
"T-then can I come and help?"
"If you want." You said and walked to the gym.

The team were happy to have another pair of hands helping out, even if it was just for one day. You kept an eye on Yumi to make sure she was ok and half way through you caught her staring at Iwa. The same thing happened with Oikawa. He caught Iwa staring at her.

After practice, as you were changing, you looked at Yumi and smirked. "You like Iwaizumi-kun~" You sang. She flinched and looked at you. "W-what are you t-talking about?" You grinned and hopped over to her. "Don't try to deny it! I saw the way you were looking at him."
"O-ok. I do think he's cute-"
"I KNEW IT! And here I thought you only came to check out that piece of trash."

You started bombarding her with question like 'what do you like about him?' Then you asked, "when did you start liking him?"
"...we were in our second year. Back then I use to like oikawa and after a while I lost interest but I kept on going to see him. At first I thought that I hadn't gotten over him but then I realised it was because every time oikawa would flirt with someone Iwa would come in and kick him or something. I kept going back cause I could see Iwa."

Your smile pretty much took up your entire face and you squealed. "This is perfect. You have to tell him!!"
"I can't. But do you think I could come to practise more often and watch. Maybe I can get closer to him."
"I have an even better idea. My hands are always full with volleyball business so~ why don't you become our 2nd manger?"
"I don't know how to play."
"You don't have to know idiot! You just have to be there to help." You said and flicked her head. Before she could give you her response you ran out and told the team.

"(Y/n) what happens if Iwa doesn't like me?" She asked when you came back in. "Watch me work my magic and get you two together." You gleamed. "And plus," Suddenly your smile turned into a evil smirk. "I bet Iwa's a Tsun. I can make fun of him."

You left the school with Iwa and Oikawa. Yumi decided to go home because she was tired. Once at the end of the road Iwa told you guys that he was going to pick up his sister and so went in a different direction. As you and Oikawa were walking home you smiled and started humming. "Someone's in a good mood. Care to tell me why?'

You grinned and looked at him. "Iwa has an admirer~" You sang and started skipping when oikawa said, "it wouldn't happen to be Yumi, would it?" You stopped in your tracks and looked at him. "...what?"
"Iwa's had a crush on her since last year. He says she really stands out and that he loves her, all the time."
"This...is...PERFECT!!" You yell. "You're gunna help me."
"With what?"
"Getting those two love birds together duh! Get iwa to go somewhere with you this Saturday. I'll do the same with Yumi and when we're out we just happen to 'bump into each other' and spend the day together. And why stop there?! Let's invite Yumi to our table and make her practise with iwa. IT'S FULL PROOF!"
"You're upsessed..."

You pout and puff your cheeks out and Oikawa can't help but smile. Man she's adorable. "Come on. Don't tell me you don't want to see your best friend happy?" Oikawa just sighed. "Fine-"
"Thank you!" You smiled and gave him a hug.
"If it make Iwa-chan happy." And you.

You and Oikawa texted each other each day of the week to plan what to do to get Iwaizumi and Yumi together. You guys stuck to the plan and you were pretty much dying. Iwa was complimenting Yumi. She fed him food. They were getting really close. Everything was going according to plan.

2 weeks had past and Oikawa was walking you home. You said goodbye go him and walked up the hill to your house. Once inside you closed the door. As you were taking off your shoes you heard banging on the door. "(Y/N)-CHAAAAANNNNN!!" You jumped and opened the door. "Oikawa what-"
"LOOK!!" He yelled and shoved his phone into your face. You see a text from Iwa that says, 'Hey I think I'm gunna tell Yumi how I feel tomorrow.'

Your jaw dropped and you started squealing. "This is perfect! We need to think of an idea to get them alone together."
"Are you playing match maker again Nee-san?"
"Shut up Isamu!" Your mum came into the hallway and greeted oikawa. You told her he was gunna stay awhile before grabbing his wrist and dragging him to your room to plan.

You mum sighed and shook her head. "Oh poor (y/n). Playing match maker when she doesn't realise that her perfect match is right in front of her."
"I'm not letting him take Nee-san." Isamu scowled.

Time skip ~ the next day

You and Yumi were walking through the hall way and you put your plan in action. "Oh Yumi I forgot I needed to give something to our maths teacher. You go wait for me next to the vending machine near the gym. I'll see you there." Before she could say anything you ran off, met up with Oikawa and followed Yumi. Today was the day Iwa would always practice at break where you had sent her.

You and Oikawa poked your head around the corner and watched this play out. "Oh hey Iwaizumi." Yumi said and Iwa, who was practicing spiking, stopped and looked at Yumi with a blush. "O-oh Yumi-san. What are you d-doing here." Behind the corner, Oikawa was forced to cover you mouth since you had started squealing. "(Y/n)-chan. Calm down."

You both looked back around the corner and watched Yumi decide to help Iwa out with practice. She would set the ball as best she could and Iwa would spike. As Yumi prepared to set once again she stopped and asked, "hey Iwaizumi-san, do you like anyone?" You were pretty much jumping up and down like crazy now and Oikawa grabbed you so that you could watch together.

"Yeah. I do like someone. She really nice to be around. She's smart and sweet and just plain irresistible to me." Ok even oikawa was dying now and you were both silently screaming. "Usually if I have a crush I give up after a while because they like oikawa but she really only sees him as a friend."
"Oh no." You said quietly. Oikawa just looked at you and asked what you meant. "Yumi is really modest and I doubt that she'll class herself as one of the girls he like."
"So? It's not like there are any other girls that don't have a crush on me."

You looked at him with your shoulders slumped. He just looked at you before realising. "Oh."
"It's (y/n) isn't it?" You turned back to look at what was happening. "You like (y/n), don't you? She's the only person I can think of that is all those things." She was tearing up and Iwa just sighed.

"You have so little confidence in yourself. You don't even think for a moment that I might like you." Yumi looked up and Iwa gently grabbed a few strands of her hair. He kissed it and then pushed that same piece against her lips. "I love you."

"IWA-CHAN YOU ASS HOLE!!" Oikawa yelled and jumped out from behind the corner. Your jaw dropped and he continued. "YOU SHOULD HAVE KISSED HER! NOT DO SOME INDIRECT KIS-"
"YOU'RE THE ASS HOLE!" You yelled and kick him. "You just ruined what has to be one of the cutest things I'VE EVER SEEN!!" You then turned to Iwa and Yumi and shouted. "Now Yumi tell Iwa-kun that you love him back!"
"You do?" Yumi nodded and they shared a hug before the school bell rang and they walked to class. "Finally two weeks payed off." You chime as you drag oikawa.

The end of the day came and you, Iwa, Oikawa and Yumi walked to the gates together. "Guys I'm gunna walk Yumi home." Iwa said and took hold of Yumi's hand. You and Oikawa nodded and started walking home. You looked at your watch. It was still pretty early and you didn't have to be home until sundown. An idea popped into your head and you grabbed Oikawa's wrist. "Come on!" You smile and start running. "Where are we going?!" Oikawa asked.
"Because you've been such a great help I'm treating you to something, and don't bother asking what it is! I'm not telling you."

Oikawa just looked at you and continues to run. You ended up in front of a dessert place. "This is my favourite sweets shop."
"I can smell why!" Oikawa started drooling from the sent coming from inside. You went inside and got a table. Oikawa ordered a cherry cheesecake and you ordered a chocolate fudge sundae.

Oikawa took a bite out of his cake and smiled. "This is delicious!" He chimed. You smiled as he continued to take bites out of the delightful treat. "You want a bit of mine?" You asked. He immediately nodded his head. You held up your spoon filled with icecream and held it to his mouth. "Say ah." You said with a smile. Oikawa blushed and opened his mouth.

You stuffed the spoon in his mouth and he started freaking out. "This is amazing! Can I have a bit more?" You nodded and the two of you decided to just share your dishes. The two of you didn't see the two pairs of eyes staring at you from behind a neerby tree. "Sheeh! They're trying to get us together when they should be getting themselves together." Yumi said and Iwa just looked at her.
"So what's the plan?" He asked.
"Let's see how they play out."
