yes hello above is Kyle he kinda cute tho
"Hey, guys. Abby," a different voice greeted, and I turned to face the new guy. My eyes met his and I let out a shallow breath.
"Hey, Adam," I said, and Kayla gave a quiet greeting.
"So your friend here told me my car was getting towed," he said, nodding towards Kayla, who was busy texting on her phone.
"We thought it was," I lied, keeping my face calm and my arms crossed against my chest so I wouldn't fidgit.
"Oh, okay. It's cool. Haven't seen you guys in a while," he said, and I gave him a tight smile.
There's a reason, dumbass. It's your fault.
"Yeah, it's been a while," I said, and I could see Chad's confused expression from the corner of my eye, the same way it has been since Adam said my name.
"Okay, well, hate to break up the reunion, but we have to go," Kayla interrupted, dragging me by my jacket sleeve to the car. I got in the driver seat and started the ignition. Looking around at the parking lot so I wouldn't hit any people backing up, I saw Chad and Kyle leaning against his truck, Kyle with a big smile on his face.
*BUZZZ BUZZZZZ* My phone vibrated.
"Can you get that? It's in the backseat," I asked, pulling out of the parking lot and onto the road.
"It's from Chad," she said, unlocking my phone and reading the text message before smiling and replying.
"What's it say?" I asked, and she giggled.
"Guess who's coming to the movies!" She exclaimed, and I groaned.
"Really?" I said, staring at Kayla with an annoyed expression.
"What? He said he'd bring Kyle," she said, and I thought about the kiss she had in the rental room.
"What about that one kid?" I asked, and she laughed.
"That was Kyle, Abby," she explained, and my eyes widened.
"Really? I guess I just didn't recognize him," I exclaimed, and she laughed and nodded. I turned up the radio and sang along to the music, making my way to the movie theater. When we did finally arrive, Kayla and I went in to buy our tickets and some popcorn and drinks.
"What movie?" I asked, studying the board above the ticket counter that displayed all the movie titles.
"Hmm, something funny," she said, and I laughed.
"Okay.. how about the Millers movie?" I suggested, and she nodded. I bought two tickets for 'We're the Millers', and we got some food.
"Party's here!" Someone shouted while walking into the lobby. The small theater was empty except for Kayla and I, plus the employees and the person that just walked in.
Wait, people.
"Hello, cuteness," Kyle said, standing behind her and pecking her cheek.
"Hi!" She exclaimed, spinning around to face him.
"Abby," he said, nodding in my direction and giving me a warm smile.
"Hey, Kyle," I said, unlocking my phone and logging onto Tumblr.
"Boo!" A voice shouted, but I ignored it.
"That didn't scare you?" Chad asked, pouting his lip and taking my popcorn bag from my arms.
"No, gimme my food," I said, taking back the bag and switching off my phone.
"We have to go now if we wanna see the actual movie," Kayla said, and we all packed into the theater. Nobody was here, so we had the entire room to ourselves.
I sat next to Kayla with an empty seat beside me, Kyle sat on the other side of Kayla, and Chad sat next to him. I started to munch on my popcorn as the movie started, and a hand reached into my bag.
"What the hell?" I said, leaning forward in my seat to see who had stolen a giant handful of my popcorn. I scanned everyones faces, but Kayla and Kyle seemed too distracted with eachother to have done anything. But- where the hell was Chad? His seat was empty, and I couldn't see him anywhere in the theater.
"Where's Chad?" I asked. No answer, of course. I continued to look around the room while also paying attention to the movie. I figured he went to the bathroom or something, and put my focus on the movie.
Again, I felt a hand reach into my bag and I grabbed onto it before it could retreat. I spun around and discovered Chad was kneeling on the floor behind my chair sneaking handfulls of my popcorn.
"Chad!" I exclaimed, smacking him on the side of his head.
"What? I was hungry," he admitted, and I frowned.
"Stop eating my popcorn," I ordered, and he nodded and sat up in the seat. I continued watching the movie and felt the seat next to me shift. I turned and saw Kayla and Kyle running down the isle of seats, and I laughed.
"Use protection!" I exclaimed, and I heard Chad break out into laughter behind me.
"Well, I guess I get more free popcorn," he said, hopping over the seat and sitting next to me. His hand reached down onto the floor and brought up the bucket of popcorn Kyle and Kayla had been sharing. We watched the rest of the movie and surprisingly, Chad didn't fuck anything up.
Yet.

"Hey, call me back, now," I said into the phone. The movie had finished half an hour ago and Kayla and Kyle were nowhere to be found.
"Where do you think they are?" Chad asked, texting Kyle again.
"Probably in the bathrooms at Walgreens," I answered, and he laughed.
"Probably are, but I would think Kyle's classy enough to at least take her to McDonald's," he said, and I laughed as I sat on a stool by the arcade.
"Let's go somewhere," Chad blurted, and I gave him a confused look.
"To where?" I asked, and he just laughed.
"How 'bout Mexico," he said, and I just shook my head.
"Whatever, but you're driving," I replied, and felt my phone vibrate, indicating a text.
hey, sorry. I'm at my house with kyle, we caught a cab. xxx
"Kayla texted," I said, not moving my eyes from the screen.
"Where are they?" He asked.
"Kayla's house," I said, and he chuckled.
nice, now I have to hang out with chad. -_-
I texted back quickly and turned back to Chad.
"Let's go," he said, and I stood up from the stool. We walked out to his truck and I got in the passenger seat.
"Where're we going?" I asked, and he smiled.
"Wait and see, Abigail."
