when you feel like you stand to lose a friend
or maybe even two
like the end
is just around the bend
I loved her
in more ways than one
I would not waver
Now it is done
i might not get past her
but i still want to stand by her
the debt i owe her
i can never repay
she saved my life
dragged me out of dismay
one link in the chain of my life
but made of mythril
wouldnt it be nice
just to keep it in one piece
instead it breaks
and splits my chain of life
into nothing but scrap
for me to reassemble
without the link i need to fix it
and so i wonder
how do i restore what once was
can i even restore what once was?
my best friend
and possibly soon a lost one
