After getting ready we headed out to my mom's house for our lunch and the reading of grandma's will. Nick held my hand as we walked up to the door.

"I'm here baby right here so don't worry",he said pecking my lips. I walked in only to find mom, the lawyer and no one else. We all sat first to eat then we gathered in the living room. There were my grandmother's belongings. Tears filled my eyes as I looked at her brooches and jewelry. Nick pulled me into his lap as the lawyer began the reading.

"your grandmother Elizabeth Goodwin left the jewelry to be divided equally among her daughter Linda Goodwin Heart and granddaughter Beth Heart. She also left her house to Beth and the sum of four point eight million to her granddaughter Beth Heart. She left this letter for you Beth and her car. To her daughter she leaves her beach house, minivan and four point eight million. Here is your letter Mrs. Heart,he said standing up and shutting his brief case, I am sorry for your loss and if you need me please call my office he said walking out.

I sat stunned I was a millionaire and had a house now. She left me the huge house in the town where I lived and more money then I knew what to do with. Tears fell as I burrowed into Nick's chest and cried. My mom hugged us and rubbed my back.

"she loved you baby she really did and she talked with me before she passed about leaving you enough to live happy and able to support yourself for life",my mom said kissing my head.

I just nodded as Nick continued to rub my back and whisper soothing words in my ears. Tomorrow was the funeral and we headed back to the hotel to sleep. My mind was reeling as I sat there thinking about my grandmother. I looked at the jewelry she left for me and held them to my chest.

"you okay baby?",Nick asked kissing my head.

"yeah I'm sorry for being a baby Nick and I'm sorry I am acting weird its just alot to take in",I said laying beside him as he rubbed my back. We ordered room service and watched a movie before going to bed. The next morning we dressed in our funeral outfits and went to lay my grandma to rest.

I cried as the casket was lowered and the pastor wrapped up with a prayer. I hugged Nick as we walked to our car and headed to my mom's house. After eating we decided to stay an extra day before going back home.

I was gonna have her car delivered to my house so I could ride with Nick. Once back at the hotel we showered and ordered room service again. We watched a movie and talked till sleep pulled us under. The next day we went to the museum and went sightseeing all day before going to my mom's house to say goodbye.

On the road we talked and joked around. I loved the feeling he brings me and I just hope it is easy like this the whole time.

We arrived after midnight and some strange girl was sitting on my porch. I looked at Nick confused as we got out the car.

Once at the door she stood.
"hi Nick we need to talk",she said glaring at me.
