I move my stuff in a week later and Nick moves with me. I was completely surprised but he insisted. We are closer now then we were years ago. It took me weeks to go through all of grandma's stuff. I sold a majority but kept old family heirlooms so I could pass them down to my kids. He also insisted we share the same bedroom and I didn't disagree.
"so baby what are we watching today?",he says kissing my lips. I was wanting to eat but lately my stomach has been pitching a fit. I've been feeling nauseous alot but put it off to nerves from losing a wonderful woman and the stress of selling my house. I also moved all my belonging in a week. I gripped the counter as another dizzy spell hit making me almost pass out.
"baby",Nick said grabbing me and getting me to look at him. I felt so crappy as I held onto him and took I deep breathes.
"I don't feel to good Nick",I whimpered before running to the sink to puke. I felt horrible as I threw up again before feeling better. I hurried to my bathroom to clean my mouth and shower. Once done I met with a worried looking Nick.
"baby how long has this been going on?",he said kissing my head. I felt ashamed as he watched me.
"three weeks give or take. I've been busy with stuff I think its the flu",I said getting worried cause I knew where this was going. Nick sighed and pushed me towards the bed.
"lay down baby I'm gonna run out to grab something I will be back soon",he said pecking my lips. He covered me up and I closed my eyes. I fell asleep only to be shaken awake when Nick got home. He handed me a bag and told me to take it. I hustled to the bathroom and what I found in the bag shocked me.
I burst into tears as I pulled out the pregnancy test. More tears came as I turned to face Nick. His face was blank which worried me more. I started to bawl as I opened the test. He was gonna leave me if I was pregnant.
"baby calm down its just a test".
I sobbed harder knowing whatever it shows I was gonna be scared. Nick gathered me close and kissed my head.
"its gonna be fine baby. We will be just fine",he said kissing my lips softly.
I cried as I hugged him and he rubbed my back.
"take the test baby. Whatever happens I'm right here and I promise I won't leave",he said kissing my head.
I nod and take the test. The five minutes waiting are the longest five minutes in my whole entire life as I sit waiting for the timer to sound. Nick holds my hand as I bite my lip and try not to cry.
"B whatever it says doesn't change anything I told you. I love you baby and I plan on being with you forever",he says just as the timer beeps. I nod and go see the test.
Picking it up I look at it then turn to Nick with tears filling my eyes.
"its positive",I say watching his reaction.
All he does is smile and pull me into his arms.
"I am so happy baby",he says kissing my lips softly before deepening the kiss.
