His name is Nick Memphis and I've been in love with him forever. Since we were kids but Nick is a player and he always will be. He knew I had a crush on him and he flaunted whores in my face constantly.
"girl tell me again why your friends with that",my friend Andrea said pointing at Nick and his latest conquest. I sighed knowing he will never be mine and all I ever do is hope he will wake up one day. It sucks hurting but at least he is my friend.
"your guess is as good as mine",I say sitting at our table in the diner we have been going to since middle school. I sipped my sweet ice tea and roll my eyes.
Andrea just sighs cause she knows I will never drop Nick as a friend. He has been my friend since kindergarten when he pushed a bully off of me. I chuckle as my little six year old self blushed and kissed his cheek.
Coming back to reality I sigh cause I've loved Nick since the beginning but all I was or ever will be is a friend.
"so have you decided who your gonna give your v card to?",she says acting like its not a big issue to just give it away like you would old clothes.
"well I haven't decided yet but you know who I would like to take it",I say blushing as she laughs loud drawing attention to us.
"you have better luck having Channing Tatum take it then him. Wake up Beth you know he uses then runs".
I just nod cause she is right I would be better off getting drunk and just letting a random stranger take it. I frowned sadly and her smug face fell.
"I'm sorry B but you as well as I do knows he won't give you time or the day. Hell he friend zoned you for years and that isn't going to end anytime soon".
"I know but I can hope",I say trying to not crumble. I've been hiding behind a mask for years. The last four years of high school I cried every night before falling asleep. I cried way to many tears over Nick Memphis but I couldn't drop him he was my best friend just like Andrea.
She touched my hand and patted it sadly.
"so you finished nursing school and landed the job. What's next?",she asked wiggling her eye brows.
"well lets see I lose my virginity,go on vacation and maybe lose it there and find a man",I say dramatically while she giggles.
"a man for what a deep rich voice says from behind me. A blush stains my cheeks as I spin around and see the love of my life Nick Memphis. He smiles flashing those gorgeous dimples I love so much. His dark eyes brighten in amusement as he waits for my answer.
"don't you have a whore to fuck Nick?",Andrea growls as he flicks her off.
"don't you have a man to plug your mouth?",he retorts making her huff.
"guys please",I beg but get ignored.
"is that all pretty boy you know eventually your looks will go and your dick will fall off",she says back while I shake my head and sigh in frustration.
"yeah well at least I use it cobwebs",he says while she snorts. Great this is gonna go on for awhile.
"guys please",I beg only to be ignored as she flicks him off double.
"that is so good noisy but we were having a conversation that doesn't include fuck boys",she said earning a chuckle from Nick.
I put my head in my hands wishing they stop cause I hate fighting.
"Stop it now I can't take this",I say trying to stand.
Nick yanks me to him and my heart flutters. He has no idea what his touch does to me.
Andrea looked at me and her eyes showed mischief.
"if you must know we were discussing B losing her v card to someone. She is being picky about it",she states while I glare at her.
"Andrea really?", I glare at her.
"yep",she says popping the p.
I just sigh and walk away from them as Nick and her bicker more. Now she did it cause Nick knows I am looking for someone to pop my cherry.
I just wish that someone was him.
