Night has fallen,
And led from trails of red,
To the Sisterhood of Kam,
And crimson hues.
He's not a Dalek,
But is there truly a difference?
Time Lords and the Time War.
The whole of creation is in jeopardy,
Because he's not a part of it,
He will not fight nor take action,
Because he is the Doctor,
The good man.
But he can't save everyone.
What we need now is war,
A Doctor born from death
And hatred towards a thing born of hate itself.
The War Doctor,
John Hurt,
Between 8 and 9;
A man born in rage.
What he did,
It was in the name of peace
And sanity, but not
In the name of the Doctor.

There's one life he's tried to forget,
One forged from fire and despair.
A beautiful red jewel sits
Atop a pedestal, waiting to be pressed.
This is the impossible day,
The Day of the Doctor.
Clara's truth revealed;
You come in here, Doctor ten.
Here and there, with a ridiculous fez.
Rose is near,
With a man looking for the Doctor.
Here come the Time Lords,
The Time War has begun.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fifty years through time and space
Has led to this.
The impossible day,
The day he has been running from all his life,
Every face,
Every companion,
Simply a distraction
From the hideously dark past
He has led.
Here it is at last,
Catching up from the past,
The impossible day,
The Day of the Doctor.

The fall of Arcadia,
And 400 sky trenches,
They're not premonitions,
Just hallucinations!
A dead man in a suit,
Skull burdened with
The tints of red,
Cut for the family to see.
A Dalek descends from up above,
Intent on extermination.
Dead and dying,
Lie the last defense,
Of the most protected city in the world.
Arcadia has fallen.
This is the last day.
