Time & Tide

Time and tide led us here,

To be seperated by our fear,

Of losing ourselves,

And all we are.

He is forgetting,

Breaking bit by bit,

And even his companion,

Can't reverse the damage.

She's a normal girl,

But she is twice dead,

The only mystery left solving,

Who she is, who she was before,

We are trapped now by our fear,

The Doctor's name will only be the beginning,

Something more is coming,

Something dark in the corner of time.

Clara can't be who she seems to be,

Too perfect, too impossible,

Yet there she is,

Flying through time and space.

The TARDIS doesn't like her,

In fact, I think Sexy hates her!

The big blue cow,

Who flew over the moon.

Time will come for secrets to be revealed,

So why do I fear the unknown?

Clara's too perfect,

The Doctor's too lost, too dark.

He no longer cares if we live or die,

He needs a cheat sheet at the end of time,

What has happened to them?

Have they fallen prey to a bigger plan?

This poem is just some speculation as what is to come from the rest of season 7 of Doctor Who. The Doctor does seem as though he's gotten darker, and Clara seems a little too perfect. I mean, Steven Moffat has combined bits of all of the past companions in the new series in Clara. It seems a little too good to be true. Also, there's a reason the TARDIS doesn't like her, but what is that reason? Finally, this is a slight tip of the hat towards the season 7 finale title, "The Name of the Doctor."
