Rule number one,
The Doctor lies,
But don't cry,
You liar.
You say, you have spoken,
Like the coward I am, I hang my head.
With wings like lead,
They fall.
Fish fingers and custard, she says,
But now no one knows the price they pay.
Oh, please don't cry, you liar!
Amelia Pond,
You found a man,
And were quite fond,
Of space and time.
"You want to be forgiven."
"Don't we all?"
Your hands cold, as they find my neck.
And the ship wrecks;
This love that I've found, I detest.
Now sleep in peace, lie your head down and rest.
"My life in your hands, Amelia Pond."
The raggedy man, the reckless clatter,
"You're lying!"
"Swear to me, swear to me on something that matters."
Oh please, don't cry, you liar!
You lean in for your last kiss,
Unknowing to the hopeless bliss.
Who in this world could ask you to resist?
Oh this love that I've found, I detest...

A relationship born of lies,
And all the tears they cry,
The confusing riddles and bemusing jabs,
Bohemian Rhapsody in a pedicab.
All those years they did fly,
And now it's at an end,
But his song has just begun.
Then the Ponds are gone.
Another story soon unfolds,
And all the loose ends hold,
Blinking in the sunlight,
Their daughter left behind, with an endless night.
Broken hearts and torn lives,
Whispered truths and misplaced love.
Oh please, don't cry,
You liar!
