Krevlornswath of the Deathwok Clan, more commonly known as Lorne, or The Host, is a demon, born in the dimension of Pylea. There, he felt unusual, and not like his fellow Pyleans, because he did not hate humans (cows) and because he was not interested in constantly training to fight. He was sucked through a portal and brought to this dimension, where he opened a karaoke bar called 'Caritas.'
He found that he could read people's auras, but it was easiest to do when they were singing. He allowed anyone, good or evil, into his bar. He doesn't always want to participate in the fights that AI gets into, but they often need his help. Caritas was destroyed by Daniel Holtz, and that was when Lorne really became part of the gang.
He later leaves and moves to Las Vegas, where he is under the control of a crime lord, who makes Lorne read the auras of people with promising futures so that the crime lord can steal their futures. He is saved by AI.
When Angel gains control of the LA branch of Wolfram and Hart, Lorne becomes head of the Entertainment Division, which he enjoys. However, after Fred's death, he becomes more and more depressed, hating himself and his job. In the finale, he states that he will do ne last thing for Angel, and then he's done.
This one last thing turned out to be killing Lindsey, who is angered at the fact that he is killed by Lorne and not Angel himself.
