Chapter Nineteen

HINDI mapakali si Jenna Rose. Hindi niya alam kung ire-reject siya ni Danson o tatangapin. Ang daming tanong sa kanyan isipan na nais na niyang mabigyan ng mga kasagutan. She is rehearsing on her mind what she wants to say to Danson.

He was the only reason why her heart keeps beating despite the years that had passed. It was his love that makes her live for all those years. Danson was the only one who could make her hear beat fasts and skip a beat at the same time. He was the only who made her feel that she was a very beautiful maiden despite her flaws. He, who loves her with every inch of her not so perfect body. He, who made love to her, and made her feel so loved that she never felt the pain. He is the best thing that ever happened to her life.

It was Danson she loves with every beat of her heart, she can spend the whole day just thinking about him, how is he, who is he with, if he’s doing okay. It was Danson that could make her nervous but comfortable at the same time. She can spend the whole day staring at one another and being in his arms without even talking and just listening to every beat of his heart.

It was with Danson when she can see in his eyes the love he has for her. The reflection of he’s heart promising not to hurt her. It was Danson that with every touch filled with care and love. It was him whom she felt butterfly’s on her stomach that it was him making ways so she can be comfortable.

She can’t imagine someone else spending the rest of her life with if it is not Danson. She wants to grow old with him. She wants to just comfortably sitting with him in the porch when all their children have their own lives and family. After when the passions gone, all that was left was the love, care, and friendship.

She wants for every important occasions of her life, of the years, Danson would be there. She can’t live without him, not literally. Though, she’ll be miserable forever if they won’t end up together. But still, if he reject at least, she wants to tell him how much she loves him.

“Pwede bang i-fast forward na ang oras? Kung saan ako na ang nasa tabi niya? Kung saan Masaya na kami? Kung saan wala nang makakahadlang sa pagmamahalan naming dalawa!”

Muling nahiga sa kama si Jenna Rose at sinubukang matulog. Kakailanganin niya ng madaming lakas ng loob, kapal ng mukha, tibay ng dibdib, para sa minamahal niya.

“DANSON! Can we talk?” tawag niya dito ng makita niyang bumaba ito sa service coaster na provided ng kompanya nila. Hindi siya pinansin nito sa halip ay dumire-diretso lang ito at nilampsasan siya. Hindi pa siya nawalan ng pag-asa. Ginawa na nito ang lahat ng kaya nito. It’s time for her to make the moves for their happy ending.

“Danson, kausapin mo naman ako oh! Nagmumukha na akong tanga dito. May gusto lang naman akong sabihin sayo eh.”

“What?! What do you want? Aren’t you satisfied in having me humiliated in front of everyone?! You still want to play, Jenna? Well, guess what? Sorry to disappoint you, dear, but I’m not willing to play with you anymore. And now you’re complaining that you’re making a fool of yourself by following me around? Did you hear any complain from me that I look like a fool? None, Jenna, none! For heaven’s sake, stop acting like a child! Grow up and act like one!”

She felt hurt with Danson’s words. But it’s not reasonable para pagsalitaan niya ako ng ganon.

“Ikaw lang ba ang nasasaktan? Ikaw lang?! You don’t know what I’ve been through these past few years! You don’t know what I felt! You don’t know how much I wanted you by my side by those times! You don’t know what really happened and you did not try to know the real roots of our problems! You know, what the problem does not lay with me anymore! You, you’re the problem!”

“You don’t know what you’re saying, Jenna. You also don’t know what I’ve been through and you didn’t try to understand me. You never trust me. I believe in the saying, love cannot live when there is no trust. I am tired of understanding you, Jenna. I did all my best to be the perfect guy for you. But I guess were not really meant for each other.” He recited those words without facing her. She can’t see his reactions and emotions. He is also wearing a sunglass wherein she cannot definitely see those expressive eyes.

Then he walk away again leaving her feeling misery again. A tear rolled down on her cheek.

“Oh… why Danson is so mean?” It was Hebe who is talking.

“Well, we can’t blame him, the guy is truly, madly, deeply, in love with Jenna Rose.” It was Calvin now, who was talking.

“But at least he can face the girl without being so rude and harsh.” It’s Selena.

“He was just having excuses for himself. “ It was Chun who talked now.

“Why does your friend have to be mean to be my best friend? I told you Chun, to tell Danson that Jenna is coming today!” It’s Adrianna.

“I did tell him. But he’s really not in the mood. I mean I am talking here logically, Danson is just making reasons and excuses to stop him from hurting.”

“But this is it; he was now being chase by the girl! Now, who does he think he is a Greek god?” It’s Ella.

“Well, he is really a demigod, Ella!” Hebe said.

“We are supposed to be making Jenna Rose feel better, but I think were making things worse for her.” It’ Jiro.

“Well, I think Fahrenheit can help Jenna Rose in this.” The ever quiet Aaron Yan just talked.

“Hmpf! Conceited guys ever!” Selena said.

“So, what is it Aaron?”

“Nah. Not until you girls, stop thinking were conceited, then maybe you can join our little adventure, and you can be part of Jenna Rose and Danson’s great love story. The love story of all time, here and in Taiwan.”

“Hmpf! You Aaron Yan is making us leave with no choice!” Hebe complained.

Now, everybody is around her. Murmuring but she can’t even understand a bit of it. She just knows that whatever happens they will help her in chasing Danson. And she wouldn’t be alone with her fight. She stops crying, they gave her hope and strength.

“Don’t you worry Jenna; Danson will accept you with his arms open!” Ella assured her.

SHE was sitting in front of the mirror looking at her reflection. Selena, Hebe, Ella, and Adrianna, helped her dress up. They already had a spare ticket for her. To make the story short, she was already in Taiwan.

“You think I can do this?”

“You know, when it’s all about your love, you can do things you haven’t done before.”

“Where is he?”

“Don’t worry he won’t stood you up. He will be waiting there. And he won’t go anywhere.”

“Hmmm… why do you have to be so mean when I really, really love you, Danson? Why are you doing this to me?”
