Chris's POV

"Wait, where are you going?" I asked Rosa as I saw her leaving. "You said you didn't have to go into work today."

"I don't have to, you're right." Rosa said, "But I'm going to so... bye!" She went out of the dorm, closing the door behind her. I sighed and sat down on the couch, taking out my laptop and putting my headphones on to put on some music.

Serve or break the patterns
that would be
Echo positions of the free
Middle child of eternity
Caught between the
branches and the roots
Move in any way that suits
The creeping vines of anomie
I never wanted to believe
I never asked if I could stay
Switch the pressures you relieve
Forge your aggression in the clay
The art that I buried in the earth
Sketching parallels to understand
Why I can't share your love
Watchmen and makers in dissent
I'm only building what I meant
To do so many lives ago
I never wanted to believe
I never asked if I could stay
Switch the pressures you relieve
Forge your aggression in the clay
I never wanted to believe
I never asked if I could stay
Switch the pressures you relieve
Forge your aggression in the clay

I loved that song, Watchmaker by Area 11, it was literally the best song ever. I put it on loup and opened up some games. I listened to the song for a while before changing it to Area 11's song 'Dreams & Reality'

Dreams... are realities.
You mean so much to me,
I can't forget the way,
The choice that we made that day.
Brick up the window to block out the world,
200 sleepless nights ago,Is it worth the risk that we take?
Gambling our youth away,
Waiting and hoping from the side-lines
But this is our moment, it's our chance to shine.

'Cause this feels better than the best thing,
'Cause we are stronger than anything,
We've grown from all the things we've been through,
And they couldn't break us if they wanted to.

[Instrumental]

I see, when I close my eyes,
Your smile is brighter than the lights in the skies
Now I put the colour between the lines,
24 years of biding my time.

'Cause this feels better than the best thing,
'Cause we are stronger than anything
We've grown from all the things we've been through,
And they couldn't break us if they wanted to [x2]

[Instrumental]

Dreams... are realities.
You mean so much to me,
Umbillical cell phone, wont you tell me what is real?
Lets write our names in history,
Let's make these dreams reality,
'Cause this feels better than the best thing,
'Cause we are stronger than anything
We've grown from all the things we've been through,
And they couldn't break us if they wanted to. [x3]

I listened to that for a while too then I heard the door open and saw Rosa walk in, she gave me a small smile and plopped down next to me on the couch.

"Hey, whatcha doin'?" She asked, peaking at my computer screen.

"Playing some Black Desert Online and listening to Area 11 songs." I told her, taking out my headphones so she could listen to the music too.

"Oh, cool. I've never heard of them before." She exclaimed. I could see her mouth move to the lyrics the second time the song played and now it was my turn to smile.

"You're pretty good at knowing lyrics, aren't you?" I laughed, playing 'Watchmaker' again so she could hear it.

"Yeah, I hear it once and I can sing along, I hear it a couple more times and I might be able to sing it without the music." Rosa said. I looked at her hopefully and she sighed then sang along to the music. She got stuck on parts a missed a couple words, but for the most part she was amazing.

"You should sing more often, your voice is amazing." I said.

"Thanks, but I've just got a little stage fright." She said, "Actually, a lot of stage fright."

Bad news, I might have slow updates, sorry!
