I kissed Taylor goodbye before hoppin' in my car. I had to meet Desire fa ha doctor's appointment today.
When I first found out she was pregnant, I didn't believe ha but, she proved my ass wrong. My phone rang on the seat and Desire's named appeared. I answered it and placed the phone ta my ear. "Wassup?"
"August, are you almost here? You never on time for nothing," she said with an attitude.
Hea she go with this hormonal shit again. "I'm almost there, calm down."
"You better be here in the next five minutes, or I'm beating yo ass," she said, endin' the call.
I chuckled before puttin' my phone down.
Desire and I are still friends fa now. I loved ha and all but, I still want Roni back. She been playin' all typa games with ole boy but, I honestly think she has feelings fa me.
Yeah, I'm fucked up for cheating on her like that but, I wasn't thinkin' right at the time. Ion feel that way about Desire anymore....I think.
I tried apologizin' ta her a couple times but, I eventually gave up.
I pulled into the parkin' lot of the Doctor's office and hopped out. I spotted Desire sittin' in the waitin' room once I walked in. I walked ova ta ha and kissed ha cheek. "Hey baby momma."
She chuckled and grabbed my hand. "Hey, Happy birthday baby daddy," she said, smilin'.
Today was my 18th birthday and I didn't really think it was a big deal. I planned on spending it with my family and that was about it.
"Thanks ma. Today we get ta find out the gender of the baby?"
"Yeah, but I think we should let it be a surprise."
"Nah, I wanna kno'," I said.
"Yeah, me too." ******* I hopped out of the shower and put a towel around my waist. I was gettin' ready fa tonight's dinner and I wanted ta look icy. My phone rang on my bed and I picked it up without lookin' at the caller id. "Yeah?"
"Hey August," my heart dropped at the sound of Roni's voice.
"Uh-um..hey Roni. How you doin?"
"I'm doing good. I was just calling to tell you happy birthday. Even though we haven't spoken to each other in a while, I still remember."
"Good. And thank you. Can I ask you something?"
"Sure, go ahead," she said.
"Can I see you, please? I just wanna talk."
She was silent fa a moment. "Fine. Where do you wanna meet?"
A smile spread across my face. "At my house is fine. You still kno' yo way?"
"Yeah, I'll be there in 30 minutes," she said, endin' the call afterwards.

I heard a knock downstairs and I rushed ta the door. I opened it ta see a smilin' Roni in a short baby blue crop top and some jeans. She looked beautiful as always. "Wassup," I said, pullin' ha into a hug.
"Hi. You look nice," she said.
I turned around to the sound of Jala's voice. "Aug who's at the-.. Ahhhh!" she screamed, runnin' towards Roni.
"Jala, you see her at school, what are you doin'?" I asked, confused.
"Shutup. Anyways, hi. I can't believe you're here," she said, turnin' her attention back ta Roni.
"Yeah, and she talkin' ta me. You dismissed," I said.
She rolled ha eyes at me and walked away. We made our way ova ta the couch and sat down. She played with ha nails like she always did when she was nervous. "So, how ya been?" I asked, breakin' the silence.
"I've been great. How have you been? I heard about Taylor coming to live with you."
"Yeah, she talks about you all the time."
She smiled. "Really? I miss her so much."
"Yeah, I miss all of us being togetha," I said.
"August, I shouldn't have even came here to begin with but I'm willing to listen to what you have to say."
I took a deep breath and grabbed ha hand. Surprisingly, she didn't pull away. "Roni, I screwed up so bad and I'm still so sorry. I luh you and I hate that I lost you. You mean everything ta me and I appreciate you even though you fucked my car up," I slightly chuckled.
"Please tell me what I have ta do for you ta forgive me. I will do anything," I continued, placing ha hand ta my lips.
She kissed me almost immediately. "If you ever cheat on me again, I will kill you," she said through tears.
"I won't baybeh. I love you, I promise I love you," I said, kissin' ha all ova ha face.
"I love you too."
