"I gotta take these cats to where they need to be," Mom says. "You got the house, right?"

"Yes," I told her.

"Your father and I will be on our phones the whole time if you need us, Bye Em," She hugged me. My sisters had their sunday basketball practice over at the rec center, which was fifteen minutes from home. I would then leave and drive up to watch them play a scrimmage later at five. My older sister, Maya, is a senior and eighteen and is on the elite eighteen national team but only does soccer and basketball, and my younger sister, Isabella, is also on the best national team but for the fourteen year old team.

Maya, who is a daddy's girl, looks nothing like me or Isabella, and has long, big curly dark hair, what Dad's sister, Aunt Brooke, had. Isabella and I both have Mom's blonde hair, her green eyes, and are like sister-friends. Maya and Isabella both left and I made myself a peanut butter sandwich. Dad and Mom both coach teams there and I don't do club basketball yet though, it's just for when I no longer do track.

I then sat and turned on a comedy movie and watched it. It was two hours long, about as long as both Maya and Isabella's practices were. I heated up some popcorn and sat on the couch with my hot pink blanket on my legs.

I laughed and laughed and then the movie was over. I took the movie out of the DVD player and walked upstairs to put jeans and a nice plain white shirt on and some white chucks. I put flowy earrings on and a statement necklace. I put my red leather purse on my waist and grabbed my car keys to head out to my 1980's Orange Mercedes.

I took my pink iPhone 6 out of my purse and saw my phone was blown up, I scrolled as I read the texts. My friends, Brooklyn, Claire, and Danielle texted me and so did Aunt Brooke and my cousins and my grandparents, all with the question 'Are you OK?' I texted them back really fast saying, "Yeah, what happened?"

Brooklyn was the first to respond immediately.

"Dad said he drove by and saw your van collide with a truck, and the ambulance and paramedics were there and saw your parents and Maya and Isabella getting loaded to the hospital,"

"Oh God!" I shouted in my car. I put the car keys in the key slot and turned the car on. I backed up out of the garage and followed the safe rules of driving to try to get to the rec center.

I drove through the middle of town and drove through the roundabout. I saw the siren lights in the distance and drove closer, but made sure the spedometer was still at twenty miles per hour.

I pulled over in front of the caution tape and parked the Mercedes and rushed out.

"Ma'am, you can't go through there!" The firefighter orders.

"I'm the daughter of Jonathon and Susan Johnslee! I need through here!"

"You can see them at the hospital! I refuse to let you through!"

"No, I need to see them now!"

"Go to the hospital, ma'am!" I rolled my eyes, and went back into my car.

It changed my life forever...
