CH13 All for the Agenda

Vesper, bored by her schedule, which only had her fighting one fight a day and avoiding Neeko, landed her in the crowd watching the latest fight. This particular fight was quite interesting, as it had two similar and very noble looking twin children, against an overly muscled man. Vesper could see their mouths moving, even though she was sitting at the very top of the stadium near the ceiling. It was a bit troublesome as the massive crystal hung from the center of the ceiling and branched down and slightly cut into the view of the fight down below.

She focused on them and suddenly the cheering crowd's volume decreased like background music and she could clearly hear everything in the arena as if she was down there herself- sitting in the center listening.

"Brother, what are you doing?"

"I'm trying to fight this neanderthal,you twit!" He yelled at his sister.

She snickered while dodging a potentially fatal attack.

"But Brother, it looks like you're dancing."

"Dancing? Do you have a rock for a brain for this to appear as if we are at a royal ball in which we are waltzing to?"

"I am quite bright enough to realize that the way you are moving your feet, quite resembles a waltz and the way you swing me with your arms is the way you spin me."

The brother stopped mid fight and turned to his identical sister with such a look that made Vesper crack up.

I've definitely seen that look before.

"Sister, that is quite an amazing realization. Indeed, we are dancing!"

She smiled and squealed all while being swung at their opponent and kicking him dead on in the face. She leapt off with such ease, the fight really did begin to resemble a dance. Both of them had light golden hair and ocean blue eyes with a petite structure that screamed noble. Their posture also was a dead give away. That's when it dawned on Vesper.

I do know them! It's Claudius and Claudia Melbourne!

They are just one of the ten manor's within the kingdom that helped maintain order. They were huge on fabrics and colors. The best clothes were made there, but that was just in appearance. Vesper hated how she had to wear it for every single occasion and how heavy and uncomfortable it was. However, they make some of the best armor as well. The best armor in all the kingdoms, in fact. Now that, was what Vesper appreciated. It was not only the most comfortable thing but it was light and flexible while also being the most protective.

So, they had the same idea as Delighla to try and grab some training. Except they didn't even bother to hide their identities or try to act normal. So much arrogance.

A smirk began to slowly slide its way onto Vesper's face , as a plan began to unravel in her mind.

So much opportunity.

The twins continued their dance routine and easily won the fight. Vesper paid close attention to their every move and discovered a possible weak spot. During the fight, the twins rarely were not touching each other and if they did, they weren't seperated for long. Vesper wondered if the girl twin would be able to function without the constant touch with her brother. Then again, this could be something they only want people to see.

They seem like the devious type to do so.

For now, Vesper just wanted to come into contact with them. If they weren't even bothering to cover up then maybe they are acting as a sort of magnet to other nobels that might be here.

Then I can find out who they are and watch them. Have a leg up on them when I fight them in the Tournament of Kings. I can crush them before they ever get the chance to land a hit on me.
