Vesper watched the fight, even though both fighters were both nothing out of the ordinary, which made it incredibly difficult to watch. Someone coughed into their hand for attention to her left but she didn't turn.

"Ahem." The person coughed louder.

Seeing that she wouldn't turn and acknowledge them, they tapped her on the shoulder.

What people will do for attention these days.

They tapped on her shoulder again saying, "excuse me", as if they had learned manners in the last five seconds. Vesper turned her green head slowly and there smiling were four familiar faces staring back at her. Sala, Trenton, Haden and Charlie all wore big smiles.

"Ew Charlie, What's that thing on your face!?" Vesper gasped.

"What? What's on my face?" He asked while he moved his hands frantically across his face.

"That thing. The thing you're doing with your mouth! It's freaking me out." her sarcasm now obvious.

Charlie immediately got it and started to frown again while everyone just laughed.

So he gets sarcasm but doesn't understand puns? He'll never cease to amaze me.

"It's not even that funny." He mumbled.

Trenton lightly punched his barely muscled arm.

"Ya, your smile isn't that funny. I mean it does look a little like a happy version of you, but I don't know... " Trenton trailed off when he earned his trademark glare from Charlie.

They all talked for a while- well into the next fight that looked promising and that caught their attention. Then Vesper felt a nudge from Haden who sat right beside her.

"Forestia?" Haden whispered.

Even after all the years they've been together, he still filled Vesper's stomach with butterflies.

"Yes Haden?" Vesper whispered back.

"I need to talk to you." He said even quieter.

Vesper motioned for where they were sitting. He shook his head and pointed up to the massive doorway that led out of the stands to a massive hallway that could lead around the entire stadium.

He wants to talk alone. It must be....NO. It's important. He's not telling me that he likes me. Definitely not.

"Hey guys, I have to go real quick. I'll be right back." Vesper said a little to calmly.

"Oo, Oo, I'll come!" Sala chirped.

"No, uh stay here. OK?"

"I'm coming."

"No. I'll said I'll be back."

"As you command."

Vesper felt horrible and Haden took this opportunity to slip away under some excuse of it being too heavy of an atmosphere.

I did say it a little too harshly. Oh no, I messed up. I need to apologize eventually.

"Charlie make sure they don't leave please. Trenton has a mischievous look on his face and I just know that he and Sala will follow anyways."

"I'm not a babysitter.." he trailed off and nodded in defeat when his eyes made contact with Vesper's.

Vesper wanted to tell them to stop acting like that. She wasn't talking to them from the standpoint off a royal to a peasant but they were taking it that way. She was just trying to ask a favor of as a friend. She never wanted to talk to them as if they had to obey her. But it was already too late- if she didn't speak now.
